FYI – Allure Beauty Box Free Gift for Subscribers!

I received an email on July 5th that I would be receiving 2 Marc Jacobs glosses. I received another email today hoping that I was enjoying the glosses. I never received anything. So I don’t know if I will get it or not. This is the second email that I have received from Allure Beauty Box telling me that I would receive something extra special that never arrives. I guess I am not among the selected few. Wish they would not send me the email if they have no intention of sending me anything.

It’s a great idea, but they need to be more consistent with distribution!

Allure has definitely improved their content for the past 5 months.

This is my first time receiving a gift and I am so psyched, mine however is two of the MJ glosses! YAY!!

I’m not an eyeliner person, but I was slightly sad to be left out of the free gifts. However, I received an email today stating that I will be receiving 2 Marc Jacobs lip glosses. I *am* a lippie girl, so I’m pretty happy that I missed the eyeliner and got this instead! 🙂

My Marc Jacobs bonus arrived today. I received Over(night), a deep blue. I would have preferred a dark gray but I’m still thrilled with the surprise. Both the eyeliner and the mascara are full size!

I cancelled after a year as there was too many meh boxes in a row. If I was still with them I would cancel after this. I think it is very crappy to send to some and not to all. It should not have been announced and simply done if they didn’t have enough. Actually it simply shouldn’t have been done at all.

Why in the world would Allure issue loyalty gifts to ‘random’ customers? …insulting many while making a few happy… how disturbing.

I did get the email and I have been with them since it was Sample Society. I really like the Allure box and love that they send bonuses out to their subscribers but I understand the hard feelings from others. I think this may be the third bonus I’ve received from them. Nothing beats the bonus Oscar box. That was incredible!

This month marks my one year with allure, I did not receive the email you are all talking about. I actually have never received an email from them but around Christmas time I did get the perfumes and I didn’t get an email telling I was going to so who knows with them.

That’s infuriating. I have been a member for 4-1/4 years, since February 2013, from Sample Society to Allure Beauty Box without missing a single month. No email for me. I have never received a single gift or bonus. I just wrote to them but I don’t anticipate a satisfying response.

I feel kind of sorry for Allure. It looks like they had a limited number of items that they passed out to some of their long time subscribers and it blew up on them. They should have passed them out to their employees. They would be better off. These are gifts. I’m sure they didn’t expect everyone to hear about them. I didn’t get one but I’m going to TRY to be happy for those of you who did. I got the Marc Jacobs pencil in the Sephora Favorites bronzing box. It really is nice. Enjoy!

I’m kinda impressed people have been calling Allure’s customer service on a Saturday and getting to speak to someone on the phone. Only Allure and Sephora have that level of customer service.

The rest of the boxes are MIA during the weekend. Some are even MIA during the week . . .

I was thrilled to receive the email yesterday as I have been so tempted to try Marc Jacobs lately and have heard the eyeliner is wonderful. I have been with Allure for a couple of years consistently. It was a very nice surprise and I’m pleased it is a quality special bonus however it is disappointing that the bonus was random.

I’ve subbed non-stop since 2014, and have never received any bonus gift. Thanks for nothing Allure. Why don’t you try rewarding ALL of your longtime loyal customers?

Also wanted to add when I did talk to the customer service rep she said if he did not receive an email by now you would not be getting one. I know it’s a random thing but I can’t help but feel upset since I have been so loyal but it is just an eyeliner and a miscarriage sample! It’s just the loyalty thing is a Bull!

I called Allure customer service this morning because I’ve been with them since the beginning. I am on their beauty panel and also receive the magazine. I asked the customer service lady why I did not receive an email and she said it is completely random who is getting them not who’s been with them the longest. If she had the right information it really is just a random thing. I still think it’s really cool they send extra gifts out but I’m feeling a little pissed that I am not on the list LOL

So if I subcride today I get $5 off my first box’s and the free gift? Do I need to have a special code to get the 5 off

I have been with Allure for two years….no skipped boxes or sub box monthly holds. I did not get an email. I think rewarding loyalty is an awesome thing for boxes to do, but they really should specify the qualifications. The emails seemed all over the place as far as length of subscriptions. Did they only reward loyal subscribers at random? Define “loyal subscriber” Allure!! Yep, I agree with the other poster who said this was going to create a lot of hard feelings. I know it’s just makeup and is silly in the grand scheme of things, but if you’re going to do it, make it fair across the board. At least Sephora had their requirements clearly outlined as to who could purchase a $20 Play box (even if they surveyed all subscribers regardless of status). I will take Sephora’s snub much better than the haphazard Allure. On the other hand, I have been really disappointed in Sephora as a whole lately. The Play sub has not been as spectacular as the hype. We all desperately wanted off the Wait List so we could get more Smashbox Primer, Benefit PORE-fessional, samples of perfume that have been around for years, leftover 100 point rewards…..yet we continue to kneel to the Sephora gods. 😸😸😸

I received an email from allure about receiving this,I’ve been with them for fifteen months .Thank you allure I hope I get the purple.

I’m getting this somehow, been a subscriber for close to 2 years. I’d really like the Sephora Iconic bag if any rouger wants to trade!

Really hope they consider me to be loyal!!!

Does anyone know if this is for first time subscribers or only current long term subs?

1 year 4 months and counting without a break .. and I did not get an email so anyone under one year might probably not even be in the running 🙁
