There isn’t an information card with this subscription since the items are vintage and selected according to your preferences. However, there was a nice card with a personalized note and some styling suggestions.
1990s Vintage Embroidered Dress
I didn’t calculate a value for this dress because it is vintage. But, it was in excellent shape (no holes, no tears, no fabric pilling, all embroidery intact, it was clean, and the zipper in the back worked).
This fits well and is a little bit more comfortable around the midsection than last month’s dress, actually. I don’t typically wear black because I don’t want to look too much like a Goth with my dark hair and pale skin, but I think if I get a pastel cardigan, that will lighten it up a bit. I do love the floral pattern; that is right up my alley.
The material is somewhat thick and canvas-like and the dress was a bit warm for the day I took the photos. I’m thinking this will be more of a spring or fall item for me.
Verdict: The dress I received from CHC Vintage was a good fit for my personal style. I feel like it really was personally curated, especially with the handwritten note, and I know I would pay more than $35 for a similar dress in a store, so I feel like the value was there, too.
