no:hj Golden Collagen Stamping Mask - Value $4.90
Subscribers received one of three types of no:hj masks, and I got the Golden Collagen Stamping Mask. First of all, the packaging was one of a kind! I loved the subtle 3-D effect when I moved it from side to side. The fragrance was flowery but not too strong. The mask fit was nice, and the essence soaked into my skin very quickly after use. My face felt amazingly hydrated and my skin looked more even toned. Plus, it did not feel sticky at all! Two thumbs up.
Here's the mask on my face. It's like I'm wearing gold foil fish scales!
SNP Salon Face Pad - Listed Value $3
This cotton peeling pad contains white willow bark, peppermint, rosemary, and chamomile extracts as well as lemon peel oil for gentle physical and chemical exfoliation while decreasing sensitivity. It has two sides, a white side, and a green side. The white side is used all over the face while the green side is designed for a more focused exfoliation on your T-zone. The pad performs very much like a peeling gel-- the liquid balls up on your face almost immediately. However, the soft cotton pad provides bonus physical exfoliation, which isn't the case for regular peeling gels. My face felt very soft and smooth afterward, but I also noticed some red skin patches that might have been due to over exfoliation. I like this peeling pad but I would definitely be more gentle to my skin next time.
Mediheal Warming Eye Mask in No Scent (Brown) - Listed Value $4
This is a self-healing eye mask featuring characters from LINE Friends that aims to help tired, puffy eyes. Subscribers received one of three varieties, and I got the No Scent version. The coolest part about the mask is its cute design! It also has ear holes so you can secure the mask around your face. The cotton mask warmed up almost immediately after being removed from its packaging. It stayed warm for 15 to 20 minutes. However, I only used it for about 5 minutes because it started getting too warm for me. I think this would have been a better product for fall or winter, but it's currently too warm where I live to feel soothed by this level of heat.
Aromame Mochere Witch Cream in Wrinkle Down Cream 1.76 oz. - Listed Value $16
Subscribers received one of four varieties of face cream. I received the Wrinkle Down Cream, which contains dragon blood tree sap and aims to protect the skin from effects of aging. It has a soft fragrance and a creamy consistency. I like that the cream sinks in fairly quickly after application. When used sparingly it doesn't feel heavy or greasy on my skin. I haven't noticed any spectacular improvements just yet, but I like the hydrating formula enough to continue using it in my nighttime routine.
Revecen Moisture Shine Lip Gloss in Ruby 0.17 oz. - Listed Value $15
Subscribers received one of six shades of lipgloss from Revecen. I got Ruby, a bright purple-y pink with shimmer.
Here is the lip gloss on my arm. It provides semi-sheer coverage and plenty of shine. The staying power is decent and the color is beautiful for spring looks. I also like that this formula is lightweight and non-sticky. However, I'm not a big lip gloss fan. I know they're making a comeback this spring but I'm going to stick to my matte liquid lipsticks for a little longer!
Daycell Re,DNA Propolis Ampoule 0.54 oz. - Value $6.90
Daycell is a new brand for me! This is an ampoule that uses bee propolis, a natural antibiotic and antiseptic, and niacinamide for moisturizing, brightening, and anti-aging properties. I love using propolis products for my acne-prone skin, so I was delighted to see this product. The formula looks viscous upon first glance, but it spreads very easily on the skin and leaves no tacky residue! I repeat: it is not sticky! My skin feels soft and hydrated, and even my pimples look a bit less angry the next day. Love!
Verdict: The total value this month is about $50, which is twice the cost of the box! My favorite discovery is the Daycell Re,DNA Propolis Ampoule, and a close second is the no:hj face mask. I loved the idea of the warming eye mask, but it just didn't feel like the appropriate weather for me to use. Overall, Mishibox excels at introducing me to new brands and unique products, and I definitely received that this month.
