BPure Whipped Lip Butter in Peppermint – Value $8

This smells like something I want to eat. So good. I like the whipped texture a lot more than the texture of most of the lip butters you get in jars, as well. It seems easier to use. And it is very moisturizing. I’m a fan.

bpure-box-february-2017-soap

BPure Sweet Citrus Handmade Soap (3.75 oz) – Value $6

This smells great – the citrus is definitely noticeable. I shower at night, but think this would be invigorating in the morning. One thing that I think is nice about BPure soaps, as opposed to some other handmade soaps, is that they don’t make the shower floor slippery as you rinse yourself off. (Also, as I often say in reviews for BPure Box, I am kind of glad to only get ONE bar of soap per month. A single person could actually use that up in a reasonable period of time!)

bpure-box-february-2017-toner

Cosmic Floral Water Toner (10 mL) – Value $4

This is the item for the month from a featured partner, Cosmic Bath and Beauty. I am not sure if variations were possible, but I got the rose water toner. It definitely has a strong rose scent! I tried it out last night and find it to be pretty gentle and non-drying, which is perfect for this time of year with changing temperatures.

Verdict: I estimated a value of $18 for the February BPure Box. That is a great value for a $10 box of handmade beauty items. (Individual item prices are competitive with Etsy offerings but you are not paying the additional shipping you would with Etsy.) The soaps are always so beautiful and the items sent are useful for people with many different skin types and colors. The new, smaller BPure Box is looking great so far!

I was just going to order this box thinking it was $10 a month and I have a shipping charge also for an extra $3.25 a month. I’m so confused because I live in PA and should not have a shipping charge, especially when it states free shipping in the US. I know some states would have to pay for shipping, but not PA! I’m going to hold off on ordering now…

I’m actually really interested in this box now that it’s $10, even though there is only 3 products now. I think I’m going to give it a try!

What is that pink fabric wrapped around the soap, some sort of washcloth? Maybe something else that would be useful?

The site says it’s a hair tie. I was just about to buy the box when I realized I had to pay for shipping. For me the cost would be $14 a month. Now I’m waffling.

I missed the hair tie part — I just assumed it was pretty packaging. I don’t think that would work as a hair tie for me at all.

Are you in usa? The review says shipping is free in US.. Hmm..

michelle

Wow. That’s ridiculous. I live in Ohio and I will have to see how much it is in my own state. It might cost me less to pick it up then.. lol

I think this is a great deal for $10. I think I’d pay more than that for the toner and lip butter alone. I def. would. Although, I do live in Ohio, so not sure about the tax factor… I’m going to add it to my wish list though.

At $10/month, this looks pretty good. You usually spend that much on a single specialty natural beauty item. Does this include shipping?

Erin

It doesn’t. I think shipping is $3.25, or at least it was for me in CA.

From their site it looks like there are only 3 items in their new “mini” box, one of which is always a soap. I didn’t know about this box before but I think that I would have preferred the boxes with more items that I saw on their earlier FB posts, even though I don’t know the old pricing. According to their site they will be including a candle in the March Box.

Old pricing was 2x as much. The value/cost ratio is better with the mini box. (Pretty much just broke even before, is now coming out ahead.) Old box always included at least 1 soap as well.

I assume the $10/mos. is the new lower price, but is it supposed to be 4-5 items? Or did that change, as there are only 3 in this box?

Ragan

Sorry, it is now 3 items. Forgot to update my template. I’ll fix it for next time. This is the $10 box.
