BabyBin has just started a monthly subscription box that brings you age and gender appropriate products for you and your baby to keep! They previously had a subscription model that felt like a “Stitch Fix of baby boxes,” where they sent you a “styled/curated” box filled with items and you would pay only for what you keep. I really like their new model better. I’d much rather pay a flat rate for a subscription that will bring me a good value in surprise baby products because I can go to the store and touch, feel, and buy toys and clothes and gear at full-price myself at any time on my own. I’m really glad they changed their model because I always loved the products they sent.

Sassy Sea Adventure 14-piece Bath Set – Value $8.99
I love Sassy’s toys and I think I was even introduced to them through BabyBin about a year ago! I’m happy to get this bath set because my son doesn’t like baths… he knows it will involve washing his hair at the end (which he hates) so he often won’t even just sit and play. Now that he’s a toddler I have been looking for toys that he can do a little more with than just watching a ducky float to engage his attention. I think these can be fun, since he recognizes some of the things on them (he loves fish and boats) and can stick them to the wall and such.
Munchkin Undersea Explorer Bath Toy – Value $9.59
This is a really cute little submarine. You can spin the cabin bubble to play with little beads inside of it with the driver. Also, it has holes along the top of the toy designed to create bubbles when submerged.
I love that there’s such a clear little face on the driver. My son picked this up and said “hi!” right away. My son (and I think most babies) love faces so hopefully that’ll make it more fun for him, too.
Carter’s 4-Pack Long-Sleeve Bodysuits – Value $26 (on clearance for $12.99)
Clothing for my son is my favorite thing to get in baby subscriptions, and I have never received a whole 4-pack of Carter’s-brand bodysuits in one! These are absolutely perfect for us because the colder weather means more layering and these are thin enough to work great for that. I love the colors in this set, too.
Two bodysuits are striped and the other two are football-themed, but in a cute, small pattern that’s not like a “graphic tee” or anything, which I like.
Carter’s 2-pack Babysoft Pants – Value $14
AND I get 2 baby pants? Fantastic. I love the gray, but I’m a little scared of the white. Babies don’t tend to do a great job of keeping white pants white. I’m cringing a little thinking about what these would look like after a day of running and crawling around, and even more so the many substances from many places babies make messes with. We’ll see! These are the perfect size for him right now so I may have to get over it and make sure I always have my stain sticks handy.
Munchkin Click Spout Bite Proof 9 oz Cups, 2-pack – value: $12.71
I know I’m not the only mom that has bought or collected what feels like 82 baby cups hoping to find the magical one that will make her baby less picky about his beverages… I was happy to see a 2-pack of sippy cups I haven’t tried before! Gideon will take these but he still prefers straw cups, I think. I really like these though because I haven’t had any problems with them leaking as long as you follow the instructions to twist the cap until you hear the “click” that indicates that it’s locked on correctly.
These are a nice size and light enough for Gideon to hold and use well on his own, too. I also love that they’re only 2 pieces and very simple.
Verdict: I am really happy with my first BabyBin box of their new model (which is just a regular monthly, auto-renewing subscription now). The products are all very good quality from brands I love. I’m also thrilled to get 6 items of Carter’s clothing in my box because baby clothes can be so expensive and I love Carter’s designs. Also usually clothing I get for my son in baby boxes is limited to socks and hats and legwarmers. The value for this box adds up to $71.29 which is great for a $33 baby box! I’m definitely excited for future deliveries from BabyBin.
