Cuddle Crate is a monthly subscription box for pets. You can opt for a dog box (choose your dog size), a cat box, or a small animal box (select gerbil/hamster or rabbit/guinea pig). You can also combine pet types with higher tier subscriptions (i.e., get a combined cat/rabbit box) and opt for a bi-monthly box if monthly is too often for you. 

Please note: Cuddle Crate used to be called PetPakz. They are still using PetPakz boxes. Usually, they put a Cuddle Crate sticker on the box, but this month they didn’t.

Thrills & Chills Collection 2 Pack of Halloween Catnip Mice – Value $3.19

The packaging for these looked quite generic and I was surprised to easily find them for sale at PetSmart. These are little furry catnip mice with marbles in the bottom so you can make them roll across the floor.

Thrills & Chills Collection Halloween Spinner with Spring and Feathers – Value $3.49

Here was another rolling item. This was also interesting to my kitties because FEATHERS! It works much better on a hard floor than on carpet.

(As you see above, these did actually come with packaging. But some photos were lost due to a corrupted memory card so I had to take all the item photos over again after my cats had played with everything.)

Imperial Cat Ghost Catnip Toy – Value $5.50

I am so stocked up on Imperial Cat stuff thanks to Cat Claws Club. But I didn’t have this toy yet. This is made in the USA and is just full to the brim with catnip. Monkey licked it a lot.

Imperial Cat Spider Refillable Catnip Toy – Value $5.95

My cats are normally not really into the refillable toys. But, there is something about this one they love. I think it is the stringy legs. This looks kind of creepy in photos but is much cuter in person.

For the record, yes, I was holding Mr. Kitty in place and Monkey’s head is pressed into the bag of catnip that came with the spider.  He was eating it.  He was sad when I took it away.

Blue Wilderness Soft Moist Cat Treats (Chicken and Turkey Recipe, 2 oz) – Value $3.14

These are grain free and made in the USA.  They don’t smell strong and the cats liked them quite a bit.  (According to Chewy.com, this is a sale price.)

Monkey REALLY liked the box, itself (it is empty in the second photo…).

Sneaky was like, “oh, no, not picture time again” and then she was like “ooh, TREATS, let me scratch your fingers up.”

Mr. Kitty was still in a bad mood from his most recent ophthalmologist appointment. (He is getting better. But he doesn’t understand the difference between the 7 eye drops he was getting at night before and the 5 he is getting at night now. It’s still a lot of eye drops – plus he gets 7 in the morning. And 2 pills every night.)

Verdict: I calculated a value of about $21.17 for the October Cuddle Crate for cats box. Although the items were all hits with my cats, that value is considerably lower than I’d like to see from this box. You do get a better deal with a longer subscription and/or our MSA15 coupon code. But I’d like to see at least one or two more items to make up the difference here.
