Here’s their three collections – the “Delight” Collection is their 2016 collection with classic prints, which is featured in their free trial kits. The “Discover” Collection is inspired by the great outdoors and the “Dream” is inspired by the whimsy and wonder of childhood.
Here’s their sizing chart and counts per pack. FYI – on their website they say their size 1’s and 2’s run small, and their 3’s and 4’s run big.
The trial kit comes with 4 diapers of both designs in the “delight” collection.
Here’s a closer look at the designs. So cute! I love how these don’t lean any kind of gender-specific. I have to say, I love these designs and while my trial pack lasted I loved seeing these peeking out of his little pants so much more than a random monkey or Big Bird design. In fact Gideon went around the house with no pants for a bit, too, because these were just so cute.
The inside of these diapers is SOFT. SO soft! These seem like they must be really comfortable. I also seriously love that they have that elastic leak-proof wall/band around the legs. Diapers shouldn’t exist without those.
These diapers performed really well, too. One thing that annoys me about the cheap (but functional) brand diapers I currently use is that they seem to blow up even after my son’s gone just once. These absorb very well but don’t get super puffy or bulky easily.
These also had absolutely zero leaking when used overnight (he wore them to bed two different nights).
The fit is also fantastic. They’re shaped very well and my son could definitely move really well in these too.
The trial kit includes a travel-sized pack of wipes, which is a 20-count. This may be a little thing, but a 20-count travel pack is really nice. A lot of travel packs are 10-packs and any parent knows 10 wipes really don’t get you far (and if you have multiple kids 10 wipes may not even get you through a day or two of outings).
Also the packaging for these (and, really, everything from Parasol Diaper Co.) is so cute.
The wipes are a pretty standard size. Nothing struck me about the size of them being particularly large or small. They feel soft and strong and have a “quilted” texture that helps with cleaning.
They’re also a really nice level of wetness. I like the Honest wipes but they’re just a little dry to me. These work well and I didn’t have any tearing or problems with them at all!
Yep! No hindering of movement or mischievousness from these diapers!
Gideon seemed pretty happy and comfortable in them, too! I think he and I both really love these diapers.
Verdict: I seriously love these diapers – I can say they’re my favorite ones we’ve used. They’re soft, function very well, and absolutely adorable. As far as value goes, they’re a little pricier for diapers, about $0.26/diaper for NB and $0.58/diaper for size 6 (values based off the diapers-only subscription). When reviewing these diapers, I really compared them to the Honest Company because they’re clearly a competitor – cute designs, subscription bundles, eco-friendly, etc. The Honest Company’s diapers are about $0.21/diaper-$0.57/diaper, so they’re really just about the same. However I will say you do generally get a few more diapers per pack or bundle with Honest Company than Parasol Co., but you don’t get the option to opt for just diapers if you (like me) already have a huge stockpile of wipes.
Based on performance and fit, I personally definitely like Parasol over Honest diapers. The value and quantities are pretty close to Honest’s and the difference really isn’t enough to me personally to really affect my preference, either. I definitely want to order a full Parasol Diaper Co. bundle next time I need more!
