The Gentleman’s Box includes a small glossy pamphlet with all of the items you receive in the box detailed, as well as a profile of a featured member. This month the theme is “Our Favorite American Author.”

The packaging on this box is really top notch – I love the wood-look box! Their website has other month’s box contents, and the value is recently consistently over $70.00. If you’re curious about the contents of previous month’s boxes, I would recommend taking a peek at the slider on the bottom of their website.

Here’s a peek at the inside of the booklet and info cards I received. One thing to note, and I’m assuming it is because I receive a review box, is that I don’t get the monthly edition of GQ that is usually included. So that is an additional value that you won’t see in my reviews.

Evoke Patriot Socks – $24.00

These socks are 80% cashmere! They feel so soft, and not itchy in the least. Evoke Socks support social awareness and support many causes with the proceeds from their socks. The colors of the socks are very vibrant and while I can’t say how they will hold up to washing, I think they’ll hold up quite well!

Architect for Men Shampoo Bonus Item

This shampoo was thrown in as a bonus for subscribers this month. It smells very faintly of something I can’t determine and it is supposed to clarify and hydrate. I liked it well enough but I can’t say it blew me away!

Gentlemen Essentials Lion Head Bracelet – Listed Value $19.00

This bracelet is an exclusive for the Gentleman’s Box this month. It has a lion’s head on one side, and what looks like an owl on the other side.

Wolf Clothing Co. Gold Feather Lapel Pin – Listed Value $20.00

This particular lapel pin is not for sale on Wolf Clothing Co.’s site, but they do have a few similar pins for sale. I didn’t want to poke a hole in my husband’s suit, but I think the gold looks stunning against his black suit, and would work equally well with gray, navy, or even brown!

The beads are very smooth and the color scheme means that it will go with many different color combinations.

Here is a closer look at the label pin.

Never Confuse Movement With Action Journal by Urban Professor – Listed Value $20.00

This notebook isn’t for sale on the site, but how awesome is this one? This one is also interesting to me; it seems like it might be missing a word, but it’s the closest in design to the one I received!

The pages are lined, a light beige color, and the pages are tipped in black. All in all it is a very classy looking journal.

Verdict: This Gentleman’s Box is worth about $83.00, using the estimates given by Gentleman’s Box. The pin is estimated about $5.00 higher than the other pins on Wolf Clothing Co.’s website, but even taking that into account, the value of this box greatly exceeds the cost. I think this is an example of a men’s box done right!

Have you tried Gentleman’s Box yet?

Bekki Menzies

Bekki first discovered subscription boxes in 2014 and they quickly took over her life! (Not quite, but pretty close.) She started with POPSUGAR Must Have, then moved to Little Lace Box, Birchbox, Hamptons Lane…the rest was history. Her favorite product find is Beekman 1802 Fudge (so, so good) and her favorite boxes are Birchbox and Hamptons Lane…but she’s always looking for a new subscription to try!
