Neru Neru Nerune DIY – Cider Flavor

This DIY kit didn’t taste amazing… The process was easy– mix a couple of packets together with water, stir, and eat. The powders turn into a sweet, marshmallow-y goop that’s slightly carbonated. The little candies taste like Sweetarts.

Here are some photos of the DIY process.

Fold-up Stationery Box

I really like this box! It’s made out of pretty thick paper and is currently holding some of my many sheet masks.

Rilakkuma Multi-colored Pen

I love Rilakkuma things! This pen contains six colors.

Rilakkuma Card Stickers

These stickers are sized like business cards and have cardstock backs, nothing like typical floppy sticker sheets. I like these a lot, now to find a place to stick these!

Rilakkuma Bandages

So cute and functional. This is a set of five Rilakkuma band-aids.

Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma Bells

What’s not to love about Rilakkuma heads? I’m starting to amass a sizable collection of these toy straps.

Bunny Key Cover

Key covers are great, and this one will be joining my keychain soon enough.

Star And Gem Bracelet

The quality of this bracelet isn’t high. It feels like a prize you get at those toy dispensers for two quarters. I like the idea of cute jewelry but I won’t be wearing this.

Sticker Gems

Fancy gem stickers are great for bedazzling your phone cases, scrapbooks, or laptops. I’m more of a minimalist myself, though.

Jyu-C Strawberry Shortcake Candy

I really liked this! First of all, it smells delicious. It tastes like strawberry shortcake flavored Sweet Tarts. There are also little bits of chewy strawberry jelly infused in the candy.

Verdict: I enjoyed my first The CuteBox! The monthly selections don’t seem to have a theme, so I can’t say much about the curation, but I did like the variety and quality of items included! I do wish there was an info card for convenience sake. For the amount of cute items I got, I think the value is there.

What do you think of The CuteBox?

  1. Hi there Nancy! We send out an email every month shortly after the boxes ship with a link to the page that shows the products for the monthly box. It saves on paper waste and keeps cost down so we can spend more on product and less on paper and ink. ^_^;;

  2. The candy kit is called Nerunerunerune and it’s one of my favorites! I prefer the grape or the peach flavor, but I love the fluffy slightly fizzy texture.

  3. Love the fold up stationery box, cute idea to put your sheet mask inside!
