On the inside of the card was some details about each item and their retail values. Another cool thing is that they mark every item that is also vegan.
Mineral Hygienics Mineral Bronzer in “Cool Kiss” – value: $20
This bronzer is great! They sent out this lighter shade for those with fairer complexions and the color “warm kiss,” which is darker for girls with darker complexions. I like this formula – it goes on well and blends easily.
Modern Minerals Eyeshadow in Surya – value: $12.50
This shade is a new release from Modern Minerals. It’s a bronze shimmer with golden tones. It’s very pretty! I love it for summer.
I’m really sorry I forgot to swatch these for you, but you can see a photo of them applied in a look at the end of the review.
Terre Mere Matte Lipstick in “Someone Special” – value: $39
This is a pricey lipstick! Just another reason I’m glad to get it in a subscription box. I actually love this color and the formula is matte but hydrating.
Saturated Color Color Switch Pure White Lipstick – £9, approximate value: $11.83 USD
This is interesting! It’s a pure white lipstick designed to help switch up the way your lipsticks look. You can use it as a base or over top blended, or even just in the center of your lips for an ombre lip look. The color is pretty opaque, too!
Here I swatched the color switch (right), the lipstick (middle) and the color switch over the lipstick (left). The difference is subtle, which works, but it would definitely be greater if I blended with a lip brush or dabbed overtop and blended, etc. Cool concept!
Terre Mere Bronzer brush – value: $34
So nice that they included a bronzer brush and a bronzer together, and from the same brand too. This brush feels well-made and the bristles are very soft (and 100% synthetic). It works well, too! I used to to apply the bronzer lightly in the photo below.
Here’s a look with the bronzer, eyeshadow, and lipstick. I have fallen in love with every lipstick Benevolent Beauty has sent me! The colors have all been such gorgeous and pretty neutrals and mauves. The eyeshadow is a beautiful, shimmery, summer-y shade! I this all the items work well together.
Verdict: Benevolent Beauty Box has quickly become one of my top beauty boxes! The quality and colors of items they send out are always fantastic. Plus, the value has been amazing every time – this month adds up to $117.33! This is a great value and just above what I’m used to for this subscription so far. I love every item in this box!
