XO MANDYSUE MARCH 2016 - items 1

Long Striped Cardigan – value: $30?

While I like the idea of this cardigan, it’s just a little too oversized for my personal taste.  I think it’s cute, though! This will get swapped or passed along, though.

Knit Sleeveless Dress – value: $40?

This is actually really cute! I like the lace layer and I think it fits very well. My main complaint, though, is that I need to be able to wear a normal bra with any clothing items, and I can’t wear one with this.

Here’s a close-up shot of the lace fabric.

And here’s a shot of the back! I think it’s very pretty, the placement and size of the cut outs just don’t work for me.

Gold Bangles – value: $12?

I like these bangles! I don’t normally go for bangles but these are delicate enough that I think they work for me!

The Verdict: This was my first XOmandysue delivery. I like the items she picked for me, but I just have a couple details with the cardi and the dress that don’t work for me. However, I like the outfit idea and the quality seems good! I really appreciate that it’s very clear from her website that she puts a lot of passion and excitement into her subscription service. I wish the styling quiz were more thorough, though. The first month of any clothing subscription where they “style” you can be a hit or miss anyway – I really think that, with some feedback and such, that she’d get better at knowing what I like and picking things that work for me.

What do you think about XOmandysue?

  1. Everything she sells retails for 5 to 10 dollars at aliexpress. Are women blind to her tactics. She doesn’t design, doesn’t make and takes triple the profit. She only models!!!

  2. I love the outfit on you! Belt the long cardigan at your waist of it’s too billowy. I think it looks fantastic as is though! Thank you for always modeling everything, it makes such a difference when I select boxes to buy

  3. I know you hear this sometimes, but I don’t think you do often enough: I really like how you actually model the clothing and make-up. If you’re like most girls, I know it was probably a hard decision to actually post pics online and have strangers comment about how you look. But I thank you for doing so. You’ve helped me decide on a lot of different boxes. And the MSA community is such a positive and pleasant community of box addicts. Keep up the wonderful work. Oh and I actually like the long sweater on you. Looks like a ‘comfy day’ outfit. 🙂

  4. That’s a cute dress! Maybe a low back bra band converter would make it more usable?

  5. I think this outfit was very cute, love seeing new clothing sub boxes reviewed. Thanks so much! Curious of the brand names tho…was the dress and cardi something you had heard of before?

  6. I actually love that outfit on you. Perhaps the dress can be worn with a blazer or light cardi to hide the bra?
