This is the 6th month of the Disney Tsum Tsum Subscription Box. Each parcel contains one small tsum tsum plush (small is a new size currently only available in this subscription) and one coordinating, subscription exclusive mini tsum tsum plush.

My kids have started collecting tsum tsums and enjoy playing with them so we were excited to see what would be featured this month. Disney does not release spoilers for this box.

Here is what we saw when we looked down into the box.

Mowgli and Baloo from The Jungle Book! I was thinking Disney would feature this movie soon in one of its subscription boxes since they are releasing a new version of The Jungle Book in theaters next weekend. The original cartoon came out in 1967 and was nominated for an Academy Award and a Grammy, but didn’t end up winning either although it did win several other film awards. This movie is definitely a classic along the lines of Dumbo last month.

The packaging here is great! It is cute and fun. The outside box fits neatly around the inside box which came in perfect condition. If you are a collector, this is important and Disney does this right.

Here are the tsum tsums out of the box!

From the sides and back. I cut the tags off in some of these pictures since my kids always want the tags off of their toys.

Top and bottom.

Mowgli is 3 ½ inches long. Baloo is 7 ½ inches long. This is actually perfect because Mowgli often rides on Baloo exactly like this in the movie.

The mini plush usually sell individually for $5.95. The small size is new and currently only featured in this subscription box so an exact price is not available for that size. For reference, the slightly larger medium size, which is 11 inches, usually sells individually for $12.95, so the small should be somewhere in between. So why is this subscription box $24.95? I am not sure, but my best guess is that it is because the small size plush is unique, the mini plush design is exclusive to the subscription, the price includes shipping, and tsum tsums are cute and collectible. Also Disney. Put those together and it will sell like hot cakes.

Here are some pictures of my 7 year old daughter and 6 year old son playing with the tsum tsums first thing this morning.

And a picture of my son sleeping with them last night. He hasn’t even seen the original movie yet, but loved these instantly anyway. Ahh, the magic of Disney….

This subscription box is currently sold out, so sign up for News Alerts to be notified next time it opens up if you are interested!

Verdict: We love the Disney Tsum Tsum subscription box at our house. So fun!

What do you think of this box? Do you love Disney as much as we do?

  1. I purchased a May box but since these seem to sell out each month, do you know if the sub automatically renews? Or is it like the Target Beauty Box where you have to buy one each month?

    • Yes, it auto-renews. Hope that helps! 🙂

  2. The picture of your kids are adorable! My son (six years old) sleeps that same way wit his tsum tsum. Haha still on the fence about subbing to this, but love seeing the reviews. I’m sure one of these will soon convince me to do so for the kids!

    • Happy to hear your son loves tsum tsums too! So sweet!
