UPDATE: As of May 5, 2016, each new subscriber will receive a Welcome Pack in their first box with a sticker book, crayons and glue. There will be a new sticker to collect in each month’s box following Bramble the Fox’s adventures as he explores the world of make believe. Also, Bramble Box Props recently added the option to choose the themes of your first six boxes in advance or you can allow them to pick for you with the Surprise Me option. They plan to offer a quarterly subscription option soon as well.

This month’s theme is Birthday Party! Kids love birthdays and parties, especially in this age range. There is no way Bramble Box Props could have known this, but the box arrived right at the time of my birthday so my kids were extra excited. The inside lid of every Bramble Box has an info card like the one pictured above detailing the items inside.

All together with their cake slices and birthday hats.

Verdict: My kids enjoyed this box and especially loved that it came near my birthday. They had fun assembling and decorating the cake. I personally felt that this box was a little light since there was really one main project although they did spend a fair amount of time working on it. I do believe the thoughtful curation and convenience of having everything together and ready to go more than make this subscription box worth the price.
