Stitch Fix is a monthly styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences, and then your personal stylist sends you 5 items to try once a month. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)
FYI – My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Stitch Fix may be completely different!
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Subscription Box: Stitch Fix
The Cost: $20 Styling fee (Pay for whatever items you keep minus the $20 credit)
The Products: 5 clothing and accessory items selected for you based on your Style Profile.
Ships to: US Only

Each box comes with cards with styling suggestions for every piece, plus a letter from your stylist.
And this is my invoice sheet. It lists the prices per item and the discount I’d receive by keeping all 5 items. With the 25% discount and my $20 styling fee factored in, this box would cost me a total of $205 to keep everything – approximately $41 an item.
Street Level Anchorage Solid Canvas Tote – Cost to Keep: $58
This tote really isn’t my style – I don’t care for brown and black together, or how plain the bag is. It’s a nice bag in that it’s a good quality and feels like it will last forever, but it’s just not my taste. This is going back!
Here’s to give you a better idea of it’s proportions/style!
Chambrai Ramsdell Button Down Top – Cost to Keep: $58
This is cute (and comfortable), and I don’t own any denim/chambray shirts because I really just have no idea how to wear them! With jeans? Denim on top and bottom makes me feel like I’m having a 2001 Britney Spears/Justin Timberlake moment! Button-down under a sweater sounds uncomfortable and impractical for nursing, and I just don’t wear shorts or skirts.
Liverpool Anita Skinny Pant – Cost to Keep: $78
These pants fit great, and they had lots of length and stretch! However, I just bought a pair of black, stretchy pants from Stitch Fix in October that I haven’t worn that much so I don’t think it’s a good idea for me to keep these just because they fit and feel nice.
Market & Spruce Corinna Striped Dolman Top – Cost to Keep: $48
This shirt is okay – it’s comfortable and I like the stripes! However it just didn’t wow me, especially for the price.
Loveapella Darril Cross Front Tie Knit Tank – Cost to Keep: $58
I like this top most out of everything in this month’s fix; I feel like it’s really flattering and I love the colors. However, now that I see it in the photos, I’m wondering if it doesn’t look too old on me. One of my goals this year is to narrow down my closet and really pin point my own style. I’m really on the fence about keeping this.
Verdict: This month’s Stitch Fix was pretty much a miss for me. But I’m feeling like some of the problem is that I don’t really have a narrowed-down “style” for my stylist (or me!) to go off of. I’m going to do some “style soul-searching” and look at other Stitch Fix unboxings and style blogs to try and narrow down what I really want my style to be like.
