This is the third month of the Disney Tsum Tsum Subscription Box. The first month featured Mickey Mouse and the second featured Minnie Mouse. Each parcel contains one small tsum tsum plush (small is a new size currently only available in this subscription) and one coordinating, subscription exclusive mini tsum tsum plush.
My kids have a few other tsum tsums and enjoy playing with them so we were excited to see what would be featured this month. Disney does not release spoilers for this box. Here is what we saw when we first peeked into the box.
Right away I knew this was going to be good. My kids are major fans of Frozen and all its characters.
I must say that the packaging here is great! It is cute and fun. The outside box fit neatly around the inside box which came in perfect condition. If you are a collector, this is important and Disney did this right.
Here are the tsum tsums out of the box!
Here is Olaf:
And a snowgie!:
In case you haven’t seen it yet, snowgies are the mischievous, little snowmen in Frozen Fever, the follow up short to Frozen.
Here are the tsum tsums from the back and the bottom of Olaf:
The snowgie is 3 ½ inches long. Olaf is 7 ½ inches long. You can see the scale better here where my kids are hugging the tsum tsums before bed.
The mini plush usually sell individually for $5.95. The small size is new and currently only featured in this subscription box so an exact price is not available for that size. For reference, the slightly larger medium size, which is 11 inches, usually sells individually for $12.95, so the small should be somewhere in between.
So why is this subscription box $24.95? I am not sure, but my best guess is that it is because the small size plush is unique, the mini plush design is exclusive to the subscription, the price includes shipping, and tsum tsums are cute and collectible. Also Disney. Put those together and it will sell like hot cakes.
When we first received this a couple of days ago, this subscription box was sold out online. However, they do occasionally open it back up and it is currently showing as having a limited amount of spots available.
Here are a couple of shots I took of my kids after they fell asleep:
Verdict: We love the new Disney Tsum Tsum subscription box at our house. So fun! What do you think of this? Do you love Disney as much as we do?
