Loved + Blessed Subscription Box Review October 2015 - info 1

On the inside of the box’s lid, Loved + Blessed includes an encouraging paragraph, expressing their vision for that month. This month, the focus is on “Speaking Life,” meaning choosing to change that bad habit of negative self-talk! I love this month’s theme.

Every box also comes with an informational card detailing the items featured that month.

This is the mini poster, reminder sticker, and scripture card this month. Every month’s box includes these items, but the content/designs vary according to the theme. Also, this month they included an extra scripture card so that they had one that addressed your thoughts and one that addresses speech.

Speak Life Journal

This is a really pretty notebook, and the cover is made of a really nice, smooth material. The info card says that this notebook suggests using it to make notes of encouraging scriptures, quotes, and positive affirmations.

Here’s what the inside looks like.

Verdict: This month’s Loved + Blessed box is cute, and I really love the theme. I think this box fills a specific niche in the subscription box market – there are definitely few faith-based subscription boxes that I’ve seen, and I know there’s a market for them. I think Loved + Blessed has good concepts and interesting ideas. I don’t do a specific, value-based evaluation of this box due to its nature, but I know many of our readers have expressed that the monthly encouragement and message are well worth the $10 cost. Also, I have to point out that this isn’t a box that has the purpose or goal of providing a “good deal” or focuses on monetary value or material worth, anyway.

If you are the target demographic or have been searching for a Christian Encouragement/Faith-based/Scripture subscription, I think this is a well-executed and thoughtful option!

  1. Always a great box!

  2. Katie—-you should definitely subscribe to this one! I cannot say enough about it….always well over the $10 (+free shipping!!!) value, great service, always a surprise with their super creative variety of themes/items…and while I may not have use for every gift/main item, the tremendous positivity is priceless. Especially given that despite my next statement, somehow the message has been consistently exactly what I needed to hear every month for nearly a year!!!!
I don’t even consider myself a :Christian”per se, at least not in today’s sense and practice of the term (please someone revive the WWJD campaign!!! ; )
nor have I attended church or read the Bible in many years. To me that really illustrates how fun and beneficial this box is no matter what your spiritual status! Oh and out of the several sub boxes I indulge in regularly despite a quite modest income, this is the ONLY one I never ever feel a twinge of guilt over or the slightest temptation to cancel. For ten bucks it’s cheaper than most of my Rx co-pays, nights out I am too sick and poor for, etc. and a true investment in my health…without any negative side effects! : )
(I know, I know…I should just go ask to work for them already! lol)

Thanks for the tip on a similar sub box. Will have to check it out for sure!

  3. Haley ~ what a great review! Thank you! Informative and highlighting the positive, which isn’t always easy to find! (I have looked at this one a few times…). On a different note, have you heard of ilybox.com? It would be awesome to see a review of that. (If there’s one here and I missed it, I apologize.) Have a great day! 🙂
