They still offer their monthly gift wrap box, but also offer a combo box of the monthly gift wrap and lifestyle box

This is a review of their monthly theme box.

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

ARTISTRY GIFTS MONTHLY THEME BOX MAY 2015 - packaging

I love it when subscription boxes come with each item individually wrapped; it feels like a box of presents!

ARTISTRY GIFTS MONTHLY THEME BOX MAY 2015 - info

Each box comes with an info sheet that lists each item featured in the box. This month’s theme is “Iced Tea with Me.”

ARTISTRY GIFTS MONTHLY THEME BOX MAY 2015 - items 1

Abdallah Chocolate Truffle Sampler – value: $2.60

There was an Abdallah Chocolate sampler in the April box, too. I generally love getting chocolates in boxes, so I was happy to see this. I tried a couple and they’re alright, but nothing spectacular.

Swanky Sweet Pea Tea With Me Soap Bar – value: $8

This soap actually has a tea mix of rose buds, orange peels, and chamomile in it, and it smells great. I love this!

Lemon Cake Mix wrapped in Flour Sack Towel – 15.5 oz, value: $19

I think it’ a great idea to include some kind of tea-cake mix like this! I also love the packaging. It’s wrapped in a flour sack towel, with a piece of string around it and the instructions are on a card on the back.

Octavia Tea Company Berry Cabernet Tea – 2.51 oz, value: $14

Octavia Tea’s website says that this blend is one of their favorites to drink iced. It’s a blend of organic fruits, berries, currants, and hibiscus. I’m excited to try it!

Asobu Ice “T” 2 Go Bottle – 14 oz, value: $18

This is probably my favorite item in the box. It’s a heat-resistant glass bottle, and the bottom is an infuser for your loose-leaf tea, which unscrews for easy washing. It’s BPA-free and dishwasher safe. I love that the infuser is on the bottom – I’ve seen a lot of infuser bottles with the infuser on the top of the bottle, but having it on the bottom seems like it will brew much more easily! Also, I think this is perfect to try the Berry Cabernet tea in – I can just put the tea and water in and leave it in the fridge overnight to have it ready the next day!

Verdict: I really liked this month’s Artistry Gifts Theme Box! An ice tea theme is great for summer, and they really gave me a thorough inclusion of quality tea-related things. The value adds up to $61.60 – right at the $60 value mark they advertise.

  1. I remember passing on this box because the choices did not interest me. I don’t think I’ve seen it in the reviews yet about the choices. May choice was the ice tea glass infuser bottle or Life is Beautiful 15 oz mug. June’s choice is between a floral scarf and a floral crossbody bag designed by Artist Ana Davis. I couldn’t resist the crossbody bag and signed up for June’s box.

New subs will begin with July. The theme is Seashells by the Seashore. I can’t wait to see what the choices will be. I haven’t received them yet.

    • I received my box yesterday and love it! I also ordered a couple of items from the shoppe which were included in the box. I’m impressed that everything was included! No problems 🙂

I also opted for the gift wrapping sub and am happy with what I received. I’ve been reading about their It’s a Wrap sub for months on another sub. The paper is as nice as it looks on the blog.

My little guy helped me select the option for next month. He wants his own seashore cup He loves the beach. I am hoping between the July box and the MSA Kloverbox Beach box, that there is something in there that he can have for his room. He already made a spot for the seashore cup.

  2. Save $5 off your first month’s subscription with coupon code MSAFIVE.

  3. I love that bottle! I love the whole box really. I’m a big fan of tea. Is that bottle not sold online? I would love to get my hands on one.

    • Jakki –

Oh! I had looked up the bottle on their website and then searched Amazon for it at the same time. I must have hyperlinked the wrong one. So sorry – you can purchase the bottle here. Thanks for asking!
