FabKids Subscription Review: Boys Edition - March 2015 Shred Outfit

Short Shred It Outfit - Value $54

Spring is here! Which means I have to buy shorts for my nine-year-old! It gets hot here in the south pretty soon, but I still couldn't pass up this awesome hooded flannel shirt (the hood is a knit fabric). The combination is perfect! Here's another look:

My son looks adorable in this outfit! FabKids also has some Vans-style slip-ons in their store for boys now, which would complete the look perfectly, but they have been out of my son's size ever since they launched shoes for boys. So far they just seem to have limited numbers and styles of shoes for the very little guys.

Shark Bite Tee Pack - Value $74

I noticed recently that my seven-year-old was running low on short-sleeved t-shirts, and I have no idea how that could even be possible. It was wonderful to find this 3-pack of tees at Fab Kids! My son loves all kinds of monsters, including dinosaurs and sharks, so this was a big hit with him! It would also have been a big hit with me except...

FabKids Subscription Review: Boys Edition - March 2015 Flawed

There are little dark blue or black marks all over the graphic. Is it supposed to look like this? I hope not. I am planning to email Fab Kids customer service and find out what happened and what we can do about it.

Verdict: I think the value this month (almost $130 for $60) has been the highest yet! Even compared to discount clothing stores, I think Fab Kids is a great value. The quality of their clothing is usually amazing, which is why I'm surprised about the shark graphic. All the other items are in great shape. Fab Kids tees are also very soft and comfortable, and stay that way! I would love to see Fab Kids venture more into the world of event clothing, but the quality and style of their play clothes (usually) can't be beat!

What do you think of FabKids for boys? Which outfit did you pick out this month?

Im betting the shirt is supposed to look like that… gives it that “broken in” look that’s popular with hipsters lately… I really wouldn’t think much of it

Maybe so. Customer Service sent me to their website info about exchanges and returns, but they didn’t give me a straight answer about whether it is supposed to look like this or not. It seems like kind of a hassle to return it, so I think I’ll just keep it. Very cute anyway.

I love Fabkids. I wish there sizing was better I usually use their sizing chart and That helps. Mostly I order up a size from what my boys usually wear.

I ordered a lot of their shorts and they were huge. We had to exchange them for a smaller size and those might even be a tad too big. I wish they were more consistent with sizing. Aside from that, I agree these are great values and great clothes!!
