Andrea Schroder Candle Subscription Box Review – Nov 2014 Box

The Andrea Schroder Candle of the Month Club is a monthly candle subscription. (The name kind of gives it away!) In addition to one full size candle, the box also comes with a few surprises each month. I decided to give this a try and signed up for the $99 3-month subscription. (Does not auto-renew).

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Andrea Schroder Candle Subscription Box Review – Nov 2014 Cedar Woods

Cedar Woods Candle - $35

This candle is made with coconut oil wax, and has a wonderful pine scent. It's exactly what I hope for in a winter/holiday candle - I love it!

Andrea Schroder Candle Subscription Box Review – Nov 2014 Travel Tins

Each box also comes with matches, a travel tin candle, and an extra little beauty item. This month I got two of the Ocean Dune travel candles (total value $12). I would have preferred a different scent, but these will be great for the summer. And the lavender body lotion is nice too - I think I'm in a bit of lavender lotion overload though right now thanks to subscription boxes!

Andrea Schroder Candle Subscription Box Review – Nov 2014 Thank You

Thank You Card - Value $5

Each box also comes with a blank card. I love this in case I end up not liking the candle scent - then I have everything I need to gift it!

Verdict: I paid $33 for this box (3-month subscription) and I received over $50 worth of items. I really like the quality of these candles, and I'm happy I signed up for the subscription. Now I need to decide if I'm going to go for another 3-months.

If you’re thinking of signing up for a subscription, the main candle scent you get each month depends on the month. Here is the current schedule:

January: Vanilla Teak
February: Citrus Rose
March: Basil Lemongrass
April: Star Jasmine
May: Lavender Linen
June: Fig Garden
July: Ocean Dune
August: Coconut Sunshine
September: Peach Gardenia
October: Tabac Noir
November: Cedar Woods
December: Red Currant and Spice

Liz, I just wanted to let you know that the official Walmart Beauty Box site says that their winter box will be shipping the week of November 25th in case you haven’t seen it. I really enjoyed the last one and hope that this one will be just as good!

The lotion in the photo says Lilac Tea, not lavender. To me, lilac sounds much more appetizing.

I think this would make a wonderful gift sub. The scent must be wonderful.

For the price, I think that you have to be a really big candle lover to subscribe to Andrea Schroder. I use candles in my home for ambiance as well as scent and although this candle may smell wonderful, I would never display it in a place other than my bathroom. Her label reminds me of the sticker gift and name tags I use for my children.
