What We’re Watching: Our 13 Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ Bundle Favorites!

New subscribers can take advantage of a 3-streaming service bundle that includes Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ all together for just $12.99/month! (Disney+ alone costs $6.99/month, Hulu alone starts at $5.99/month, and ESPN+ alone costs $4.99/month. The bundle will save about $5 per month if you subscribe to all three streaming services.)

These three streaming services seem to have a little of everything for an entire household. I know a lot of my friends keep cable for sports content and although they may not be able to watch live local games, ESPN+ should certainly make the transition to streaming-only a lot easier and Disney+ has way more than just animated movies to enjoy. Hulu is a must to get weekly network shows without local television or cable as well as Hulu original series and a ton of movies.

If you need help trying to decide, we've put together a list for each service on some of our favorites!

Hulu Recommendations

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Recommended byEric, Co-Founder of MSA

Why they love it: “Liz and I recently rewatched + caught up on this since we had stopped following it after 8 or so seasons. It still holds up so well, I love it.” - Eric

Please Like Me

Recommended by: Marne, Content Specialist

Why they love it: “Equal parts comedy and cry-worthy drama moments, Aussie comedian Josh Thomas’ show won my heart immediately.”

Lost

Recommended by: Marne, Content Specialist

Why they love it: “Truly one of the best TV series ever made, IMHO. The characters are like old friends at this point and there are always new things to catch on re-watches.”

Younger

Recommended by: Libby

Why they love it: “I binged all 6 seasons of this show in about a month! A 40-year old woman pretends to be 26 to get back into the publishing industry, and a whole lot goes down from there. It’s surprisingly well written with great characters.”

American Dad

Recommended by: Megan, Content Specialist

Why they love it: “My husband Will absolutely loves this show and can watch the same episodes over and over. I love it too, but I am thankful there are 14 seasons for some variety. It is also a nice comedic balance to the unhealthy amount of time I have spent binge-watching Intervention, which is also oh Hulu!"

Free Solo

Recommended by: Christen, Copywriter & Editor

Why they love it: “If you’re like me you’re probably feeling especially confined by the inability to travel to explore nature settings outside of your region. Free Solo takes you to Yosemite National Park with arguably the best (also craziest) climber out there. It’s fascinating and it’s stunning.”

Little Fires Everywhere

Recommended by: Sara, Content Manager

Why they love it: “I just recently binged this series in one weekend. I grew up not far from where this story took place, so I felt slightly transported back into time. Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington are both absolutely stellar and everyone’s flashback characters are spot-on.”

ESPN+ Recommendations

Any 30 for 30 Documentary

Recommended byEric, Co-Founder of MSA

Why they love it: Specifically, I really enjoyed This Magic Moment, which documented the early-90’s Orlando Magic - but they’re all really good!”

Also recommended by: Sara, Content Manager

Why they love it: "I agree with Eric that all of the 30 for 30 documentaries are so good - even if you aren’t a sports superfan. My favorite so far is Believeland; I’m a Cleveland native who witnessed the highs and lows of the 80’s and 90’s sports eras first hand. So the nostalgia alone is worth the watch!"

The Last Dance

Recommended by: Libby

Why they love it: “It’s hard not to get fired up watching MJ do his thing. I love the old video clips from Bulls games, and all the interesting behind-the-scenes facts and drama.”

Slaying the Badger

Recommended by: Christen, Copywriter & Editor

Why they love it: “This cycling documentary digs into the 1986 Tour de France scandal. If you’re into endurance sports this is a good watch!”

Disney+ Recommendations

Prop Culture

Recommended byEric, Co-Founder of MSA

Why they love it: “As a collector, seeing props from Disney movies was always set to be a blast for me”

Hamilton

Recommended by: Megan, Content Specialist

Why they love it: “It isn’t coming until July 3rd, but I’ve seen it live twice and I know it will be epic!”

The Mandalorian

Recommended by: Marne, Content Specialist

Why they love it: “Two words: Baby Yoda. Need I say more?”

LOVE Little Fires Everywhere, I actually thought the show was better than the book! For those who like that kind of show you should check out Dead to Me on Netflix too, it’s great!

Thanks for the recommendation, Janie! It’s been on my list, but now I’m definitely going to watch 🙂

I’ve started to rewatch all the past seasons of ‘Top Chef’. It’s still entertaining & has inspired more than a few delicious meals in my house since I started watching it again!

I kind of like hulu.. I’m thinking about subscribing because I binged watched all 3 seasons of the Handmaids tale.. the book and old movie were good, but this version of the story was brutal… I tell everyone it’s a good show but very violent. it is a continuous horror story that never ends… I didnt watch the last 3 episodes because I needed a small break. I cant wait to watch the last 3 episodes.

ESPN has very little value currently. I will be more interested in the bundle in the fall. I’m definitely going to join Disney eventually… probably for Hamilton!
