If there’s one thing I take seriously in my life, it’s my skincare game. For years, I’ve been on a quest to find the best water cream to hydrate my dry and dull skin without needing to constantly reapply. If you didn’t already know, water creams are specially formulated moisturizers with humectants like hyaluronic acid and glycerin, which bind water to your skin to refresh your dehydrated, tight skin without clogging your pores.

After I put two of the best water creams on the market, Bliss’ Drench & Quench Moisturizer and Tatcha’s The Water Cream, to the ultimate test, I knew my search was finally over. The results are absolutely stunning!

Let me tell you which hydrating moisturizer is worth its weight in gold:

If you want the deepest levels of hydration … Bliss's Drench & Quench Moisturizer

After using each moisturizer in my evening routine, I found that Bliss’s Drench & Quench Moisturizer stole the show, transforming my skin from tight and dull to plump and glowy. Plus, my skin texture has even improved over time!

The magic in Bliss’s Drench & Quench Moisturizer’s formula is its glycerin and 4 different types of hyaluronic acid, which penetrate to each layer of the skin. This means my skin looks plumper and super hydrated all day. Its formula is clean, cruelty-free, vegan, and made without parabens, phthalates, or SLS/SLES.

Personally, I didn’t really see much of a difference in my skin’s texture or hydration when I used The Water Cream from Tatcha. I found that it just didn’t absorb into my skin nearly as deeply as Bliss's moisturizer. The Water Cream only uses one type of hyaluronic acid in its formula, so in my opinion, it doesn’t pack as big of a punch.

If you’re looking to save substantial money without sacrificing quality … Bliss's Drench & Quench Moisturizer

While both Bliss’s Drench & Quench Moisturizer and Tatcha’s The Water Cream come in 1.7 oz jars, the price difference is a bit shocking. Tatcha comes in at $74, while Bliss is just $24!

Considering how beautiful and comparatively inexpensive Bliss’s moisturizer is, it’s a no-brainer to me to buy Bliss’s Drench & Quench Moisturizer. I can literally get three of Bliss’ moisturizers for the price of one of Tatcha’s jars with the same quality! Right now, Bliss is offering 20% off for first-time customers who sign up for emails, so you can save even more money.

If you want the lightest weight moisturizer … Bliss's Drench & Quench Moisturizer

When I first applied Bliss’s Drench & Quench Moisturizer, I was surprised at how it transformed from a creamy texture into a nice water gel consistency as I rubbed it into my skin. It left my skin feeling super hydrated without being greasy or sticky, leaving me with an all-day glow and fewer breakouts.

In contrast, I found that Tatcha doesn’t absorb as quickly or easily; I had to keep rubbing it in for a while. It also felt more like a layer of grease on top of my face, which is definitely not ideal!

If you’re looking for the most luxurious packaging… Tatcha's The Water Cream

Tatcha pulls out all the stops when it comes to packaging. The Water Cream is stored in thick, heavy, luxurious glass jars with a spatula to safely scoop up the product directly, so you don’t have to dip your fingers into it directly. It’s almost too fancy to use

But beautiful, heavy packaging definitely comes with a higher price tag, and Tatcha definitely reflects that!

I personally find the Bliss moisturizer's packaging to be really cute and modern. But I understand how people may prefer something that feels more heavy-duty and expensive like Tatcha’s.

The Ultimate Winner… Bliss's Drench & Quench Moisturizer

If you've been searching for a moisturizer that's the real deal without the crazy price tag, look no further than Bliss’s Drench & Quench Moisturizer. Ever since I started using it, it’s been, well, like absolute bliss for my skin!

With Bliss, your skin and your wallet will thank you later. I highly recommend giving it a try!
