Just to add, I’ve discovered so many WONDERFUL things thanks, exclusively, to MSA.

The highlights:

Margot Elena (subbed last spring plus bought many other things from their site)

Pusheen!
!
Keihl’s advent calendar (I really liked or LOVED almost everything in that calendar)

Clean Beauty Box sub

Limited Edition Sunday Riley x SkinStore (super deal for $99)

…And now this limited edition Allure box.

All of this in just one year! While my wallet isn’t thrilled, my skin sure is. Thanks MSA!

I feel like the two Whole Foods bags I just got for $40 are a better value for me. And I think I’m the only person in the sub box world who doesn’t have a jade roller yet, but I don’t especially want one. I’m just over here waiting for the rest of the April spoilers…

I don’t have one either… but that’s because I always give them away 😀

I’ll be passing on this box, but I recently was able to snag the fragrance box that I originally thought I had missed out on since I wasn’t subbed when it first came out. I subbed to a 3-month gift sub in February, and while the fragrance box hasn’t shipped yet (ordered 3 days ago) I’m ecstatic to receive it. 🙂

I am a subscriber, so i grabbed it. GLO is somewhat of a spa grade brand, so heck yea!

I think this looks really good! Worth the $40 as a subscriber, in my opinion.

Me too! Great deal for $40, and filled with things I haven’t yet tried.

Mine came today. I LOVE this box (I got it for $40).. It might be that I’m older and have very dry skin, so serums/oils/moisturizers always interest me, and I can never have enough. I will use EVERY item in this box (including the jade roller, as I have never owned nor used one). Between the two herbivore oils, the Lapis is a bit more of a dry oil, and the Phoenix is heavier and better suited to my skin needs, though I will use both. Neither is overly scented. The Yon Ka spray toner is as advertised: def great for dry skin, and I love moisturizing facial sprays. My only tiny complaint is that the Yon Ka spray nozzle seems to go a little wonky directionally, and because it’s a metal spray can I can’t just pour the product into a different spray bottle. Still, not a big issue. The Ever lip balm feels and looks luxe. So far I like the Glo Skin exfoliator (very nice full size); the only one of these items that might not work for my face is the Youth to the People resurfacing product as I find it “harsh”, but will use it on my hands to go with the extra Sunday Riley Good Genes (I have two full-sized bottles) that has already noticeably reduced wrinkles and general “aging” on the backs of my hands and fingers.

Overall, the packaging was superb, the sizes were good (only the Sisley mask is a small sample) plus not a single thing (except maybe the jade roller) was made in China. If only I could get a sub box at this price with this level of quality products, say, every other month. I’d get it. You’d think that the New Beauty Test Tube at that price level would be even remotely as good as this box (my last TT was so bad that I’m unsubbing from it) but not even close.

FWIW, while advertised as a “spa at home” box, I think it would be just as fitting to label it as a dry-skin-saviour skincare box, so that others with dry, maturing skin would notice it and get it to try new such products—- the only product in this box that I’d already sampled or known of is the Glow Recipe (I was aware of Herbivore but had never tried it) so it’s truly discovering new product instead of a box of 111 Skin or other questionable “luxury” products.

I don’t have a jade roller, lol.

How many Jade Rollers can a person have, I swear I have enough of them to be able to place one in each room of my house lol.

Pass – most of these products sound wrong for my skin.

$60, and only two full size items (I refuse to count a roller as a full size item)? Do better, Allure.

It’s “only” $40 for members, though, making this one of the supposed perks of the price increase. But that’s not a big enough discount in my book. Please heed Charlotte’s advice, Allure.

I agree the roller should not count as a full size item as I am pretty sure most of us have at least one by now. I also do not think I need any more exfoliant, which is another full size item. I am pretty sure I have enough to exfoliate my whole body for the rest of my life. Some type of exfoliant is in so many products now that you really have to be careful not to use multiple products with them in it.

That being said, I am interested in trying some of the other products but can’t make out the sizes. Some look like quite generous deluxe samples though and some great brands.

On the allure page they had everything broken down some said travel size. The two herbivore oils were 18 dollars for each one etc. When you to to each product page you can figure it out if your interested. I only wanted 3 things so it wasn’t that big of a deal for me

Lana

Agreed!

Funny allure…I’ve already tried all these products….get better …new products,,,and try to stay up-to-date…

Nat

A jade roller? I am out just for that.

Snow

Agreed. I kind of despise seeing those things and hearing the squeaks.

Kim

then you haven’t tried a good one. the one that Grace and Stella has is awesome. Going on 3 years, no squeaks, use every night!

Jody

Wow. What a great box except for the face roller. I ordered the Birchbox one for the Glow Recipe. Hummm,. what to do???
