I canceled in April. I am not a fan of variations. When they went over to that, it kind of ruined it for me. It’s a me thing, many are fine with variations. However, the eye pencil I got in my last sub box was so hard I couldn’t get it to even draw a line on my eye. I contacted them and asked if it was an old product or what the issue was and was offered another of the SAME eye pencil. I didn’t want another one but that’s all they would do. Sure enough, the new one is the same as the first–so hard I literally can’t get a line out of it. That and giving me products that didn’t match my profile then moving to variations, I was done.

Is the picture on their site, the June box? Eir face wash, Pacifica cherry matte primer, Le Prunier, and a Clove + Hallow gloss?

Reply ButtonReply

carol

…or the Clove + Hallow could be a concealer! Just going by pix on their site.

Luna

My guess is no, since I know at least three of those have been featured in PV in the past 12-18 months, but I guess it could be 🙂 The only product I don’t recall seeing in the box is the Clove + Hallow product, but I could have very well missed it in a past box.

I have always found their customer service to be outstanding, and they are very straightforward with when they charge and ship. It’s exactly the same every month. I have liked almost everything I have ever gotten from them, and they’re cruelty free. Very nice reasonably priced sub.

I think their customer service is outstanding, and I’ve been a subscriber since 2015. They sent out a note that this month’s box would be delayed a week due to shipping issues with one of the included items. I received the second variation of this month’s box, but mine was missing the perfume. I reached out to CS to let them know (not asking for anything, since I’m not really a fan of patchouli, anyway), and they gave me 250 points for the missing item. This is the only beauty box I’ve kept, letting all others subside due to product overload. Petit Vour consistently introduces me to fantastic new products that usually include at least one item that I want to repurchase.

Agree 100% with you about customer service. My perfume was shattered in my box (only time a product ever arrived damaged in over a year subscribing). I emailed customer service and Robin responded same day and offered replacement or 250 points. I went with points and thought it was more than fair considering the perfume only was $2 RV. Anytime I have had an issue or question they are always quick to respond, even on weekends!

I would have been also ok with the points.
I even sent them a picture of the toner with nasty floating materials inside which is clearly not what is like on the picture they display. Mine was not clear at all! but the same Robin person just said “sorry you don’t like how the toner smells” and that was it.
It was the highest valued item in the box and the least they could do was giving points I think.
Very disappointed after reading the different treatment you guys got and will never sub or shop there.

I don’t like this petit vour, I tried them one time my box was very late…and the stuff in it seems old and cheap..i won’t do this sub. again.

Better late than never! Thanks for sharing the May box. PV is my favorite subscription, and it’s great to see the variants. Looking forward to June. I encourage MSA to feature cruelty-free subscriptions: keep them coming!

Kinda disappointing to post spoilers for a box we can’t even get anymore.

We also haven’t been getting Facetory spoilers lately which I always like to see.

@ Lisa, re: FaceTory… I have been a subscriber for a year with them. Something is fishy when they always give spoilers, but didn’t this time. I understand about their shipping as well, considering DHL is super slow to come my way, which wasn’t the issue at all. I reached out to them three times and never heard back from them. In the meantime, I bought my K-Beauty elsewhere this month. Perhaps it will be better in the Autumn when I check again. 😊 I have accolades for them, but as a customer, I rely on hearing back from them.

Lisa

@ Linda I did notice on their website that the summer boxes are sold out. It’s all very strange but nothing seems normal right now. Lux plus is a great box and I would love to know what is happening with it. Sorry to hear you got the run around ☹️

Linda

No FaceTory spoilers is why I cancelled their Lux Plus box for Summer. It was my favorite sub box, too.

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

@ Linda. I joined at the end of a quarter so I don’t get billed until the end of each quarter. Yes you do have to wait longer to receive the items but at least you have plenty of time to see spoliers to skip the box if you want.

Julie B

I got that Eir NYC active face wash in my box last month and it’s great! It makes my face squeaky clean and without any irritation.
I just finished my six month Petit Vour Plus sub, and apparently they only have 6 months worth before they rotate back again to the first box. Everything has been really useful and fun, and I highly recommend it to try new brands and quality products.

Reply ButtonReply

B

Did you get repeats or PV only allows 6 months suns to PV Plus? Does everyone get the same 6 boxes? This would be an interesting thing for MSA to review.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie B

B – I decided not to renew because I have too many products already from 5 or 6 sub boxes. But if you were a person who used up items quickly, it could be a good deal just for the higher cost items and you can always gift things.

Carla B – yes, that’s what I meant. Since I never subbed to Petit Vour before, none of the items in PV Plus were repeats for me. But if you subbed already to the $18 box, you’d probably get repeats in the Plus. I know I joined when there was a good discount going on, so I was very happy.

B

Thanks Julie B. Do you think you would get the exact 6 PVP boxes again?

Julie B

I didn’t get any repeats in the 6 months of PV Plus. I had not had the regular box before that, so I expect if you did there might be repeats from the regular box. After 6 months you have the choice of stopping or starting over again with the same 6 boxes.

Carla B

I just realized that Julie B was talking about getting repeats for the Petit Vour Plus box not the regular $18 a month subscription. I do know from I boxing’s I have seen that the plus box are items that have been in past Petit Vour regular sub boxes but did not realize they were on a 6 month rotation before it begins to repeat. I think the value is great for the plus box based on what I have seen people get but prefer to stay with the $18 a month sub.

Carla B

I have been subscribed over a year now and have never received any repeat items. It is a great cruelty free sub at a much more affordable price point than most (I subscribe to the regular Petit Vour at $18 a month). I liked the EIr face wash also. It was a quality product and I got at least a month worth of use out of it!

It’s too bad that their customer service treated me so horribly because I really like their boxes. Wouldn’t subscribe again if they were giving them away for a penny. I’m hoping to see them go out of business eventually.

Amy

Pretty much.

I canceled my sub too. I have a lot of product so that is the number one reason, number two, I don’t like how the boxes arrive way later in the month. They charge on the 1st like a clockwork and mail around the 15th, and I always get my box around at the end of that month. I almost wish they would just change it saying that it is for the next month that gets sent earlier. Anyway, my the last straw was when my toner came with only like 3/4 full and smelled like rotten meat, I had emailed them to let them know and while the email was courteous, the reply was ‘sorry you don’t like how the toner smells’. (Although it was good to know that things are made fresh for the boxes and mailed shortly after.) I legit thought it was gone bad because nothing should smell like rotten meat……. I am so puzzled because everyone in their review says it smells refreshing. I’m not very particular about fragrances in products so there’s def something wrong with the product. I want to support the business that carries cruelty-free vegan products but I also don’t want to waste my money like that. In the past, I’ve used almost everything that came in the box and I’ve been a subscriber for over a year. Sad but I think I need to stay away awhile.

I had a bad CS experience also. I loved the sub but one time bought some shampoo. I bought two bottles and one came open in transit and was disgusting. I contacted them right away and sent pictures. They refused to send another replacement until I returned the original. I was offended and never bought another thing.

Danielle Sauro

Yeah, why are you posting last months box? We all already got them…June is on the way. This site is going downhill FAST.

Joan

That’s a rude comment Danielle. Everyone makes a mistake sometimes but you don’t need to be so negative. Nothing to be gained with that behavior.

This post is weird. A spoiler implies a sneak peek to decide if you want to order a box. The May box that has already come and gone. The cut off to get the May box was over 2 weeks ago. The June box is likely in subscribers hands. Has anyone received the June box? I’m excited to know what’s in that one.

Also, the box you are showing is only one of several variations. If you’re going to ‘spoil’ so late – show the variations so people have an idea what this box is like.

Luna

I was just looking for June’s spoilers today 🙂 They will be releasing them sometime this week, so definitely by tomorrow I’d think. I completely skipped over the fact these were May spoilers, so I got really excited June spoilers were posted for a sec… but then also “excited” that I’d be skipping the box since nothing really stood out to me (at least enough to re-sub) and also since I partook in a few other June boxes recently (lol)… but it looks like there’s still a chance I could still get yet another June green beauty box if I love PV’s June spoilers enough when they’re released. 😉

MSA

Hi! We often post full spoilers of boxes so everyone can see what type of items to expect from the subscription. Sometimes this happens after a box is no longer available. I included the two versions that have shown up so far but have added the full items list as well – hope that helps. I thought it might be useful to see what products came in the May box since our review isn’t up yet. Sorry for any confusion this has caused and thanks for the feedback. Have a good weekend!

MSA…I appreciate the spoiler and honestly couldn’t care less of what month it is from. I came here to see if it is a subscription I want to subscribe to and personally, when I’m making that decision I look for several different months to see if the company is consistent in it’s contents. Thank you for sharing this, this page has helped me tremendously in several different subs I have took the plunge on.
