I’m getting bpx #015. I’m dry skin, med complexion, dark brown hair. And I’ve read many things that say Glam Glow is terrible for dry skin. Does Sephora really match the items to our profile? When Ipsy first started out, they were terrible at it. They got much better though.

I think this is my last month for both Sephora and Birchbox. After getting my 1st allure box last month, im underwhelmed by products too similar in the same box (how many primers and highlighters do i need or want) and half-empty samples.

They sure are half empty samples! Sure, it’s only $10 a month. Doesn’t mean we should be getting ripped off. I hear glossy box or something like that is good. There are plenty pf deserving monthly boxes out there.

Be careful with Glossybox. People are having all kinds of issues with them. I am one of them. From it taking taking two weeks for my box to be delivered (it sat 2hrs away from my house for a 1.5 before it moved) to charging you after you turn off auto-renew. I called customer service and they said it SHOULD refund me in 5-10 business days. I will say I was really happy with Decembers box when I got it. If they fixed customer service I think it would be a good subscription service.

What’s with all the Boxycharm ads. I understand so people prefer one to another but basically all boxes are the same products at different times.

GlamGlow products tend to dry me out a bit, but after reading the description this sounds like it would be good to use a few times a week rather every day. I’ll give it a go if it’s in my box.

Glam Glow breaks me out something fierce!! Def passing that along. This may be my last month bc I find myself only keeping 1, maybe 2, of the items I get. I also have BoxyCharm and although they have better and full size products, lately I’ve been giving away most of those as well. I don’t think subscription boxes are for me anymore bc I’m so picky about products.

I cancelled Sephora and Birchbox and went the Cult Crushes box. It’s different from any of the other $10 boxes (it’s $11), but it’s realky neat and fun! A few months ago we got a mini hair straightener and an actual Z palette!

How is Boxycharm for cruelty-free products? That’s one thing that really disappoints me about the Sephora box, nearly all the products I receive are from companies that test on animals and I would never buy them!

Boxycharm is waaaay better. I end up giving away 1 item per month tops because its not CF.
I cancelled Play! because I ended up giving everything away. (STOP with the Makeup Forever, damnit!)

I cancelled last month and this confirmed my decision. I’ve been so underwhelmed by the “deluxe” sample sized products and Boxy Charm is so much better. I understand the gist that its trying premium/high end products but getting products like Becca and CoverFX in Boxycharm makes me feel like Sephora is definitely dropping the ball and just giving us old, leftover point perks and perfume samples. You can go to Macy’s and get that size perfume samples for FREE. If they were luxury brands, that may have been worth it but not for regular stuff like Sephora brand, laura mercier and fresh.

I think on reddit it said everyone would get this item. My box is 028 and I have oily skin so boxes must be based off something else? Lole the theme New You Year maybe more skin care products?
Happy to resubscribe and try this product but a little nervous. Reviews either love or feel attacked by this stuff!

Actually last month there wasn’t really a guaranteed item. Most people though got an eye product like the shadow duo, liner, shadow stick, mascara. I do hope this month there is a newer makeup product.

Amen! I can’t get away from reds in all of my subscription boxes lol. I keep like 2 in my whole collection that are regular lipsticks and just barely blot some on so my lips look flush. Because I can’t pull off a bold red lip. I hope they don’t send them either!

I’m box #028 this month. I hope I don’t get any glamglow. I have extremely dry skin and Glamglow products all make my skin more dry, even the ones that are supposed to moisturize.

Ditto on my box number and yours, and also the reaction to Glamglow.
I cannot tolerate any of their products, sadly. They burn and I turn red as a beet. Dry, sensitive skin also. ( And old as can be- in my 50’s which is embarrassing but the sands of the hourglass only move one way).
Hoping Box o28 is GlamGlow free for those of us with very sensitive dry skin.

Same! I actually loved the Thirstycleanse but I don’t even think they sell that anymore. Every other cleanser I’ve tried is so so stripping and drying 🙁
