liz-the link took me to 2016 advents–and, the first thing i saw was a target “12 days of beauty”!

do they do one every year? it’s way up more my alley, cash-wise!

Here in Canada we get at least two chocolate calendars from Purdy’s (they used to be available in Seattle when I lived there, had a store in Bellevue) and they do ship for sure. If you’re a chocoholic, they are excellent quality (beat Godiva by a mile IMHO) and with the exchange you get a great deal. We also buy the Charbonnel from one of the many Euro shops so save on shipping… I think other than Dyptique and chocolates, the only one I really want is the Net-a-porter. Really waiting for that one.

Truffle In Paradise is where I’m getting mine from. Wonderful forum friend and wonderful chocolates as well.

Horchow has the Charbonnel Et Walker, Godiva, Angelina, Dylan Candy Bar, and Mrs. Prindle ones for 30% off right now.
I ordered the Angelina and Charbonnel Et Walker ones for my parents for their anniversary. Last year I got the Voges one for them to share.

ooh – but shipping!!

Last year the Godiva advent calendar was 50% off in stores the weekend after Thanksgiving so was able to pick one up before 12/1. I’ll probably look for that again this year. One year Costco has the Lindt advent calendar (the bigger one) for $12. It was a great deal but they never brought it back after that one time.

I’m going with Truffles in Paradise (not listed 🙁 ). The chocolates look so beautiful, and I hear they’re really good too! I can’t wait!

Also, I had no idea that Williams Sonoma did a calendar. I have a 25% off coupon burning a hole in my pocket, so I hope they’re selling it in the stores too!

Pamela

I ordered that one too, the truffles look almost too pretty to eat.

Luna

No kidding. I think I’ll be apologizing to each one as I put in my mouth. haha.

TK

Godiva for me and Lindt for each of my kids.

Ragan

OK, post-surgery I don’t have much of an appetite but this is making me hungry. Probably I will just hit the leftover Halloween candy in a bit.

Virginia

Ragan, your post sounds cheerful so hope you are recovering fine. You need to order a calendar. Your appetite will be back by the time it arrives.

Reply ButtonReply

Ragan

Haha, I think my appetite will be back sooner now that I stopped the Percocet, which was making me seriously nauseous. I’m going to wait for the temperature to drop a few degrees so I don’t end up with a melted mess.

Kiales

Oh man. Love these. I was planning to buy the Godiva one, but that Angelina one!!! I was in Paris over the summer and did lunch there, so I might just need that for those memories.

They are all so tempting! I think I’ll go with Mrs. Prindables.

LB

That looks like my favorite too! But I’m not sure I’ll actually get it since I’m splurging on so many other advent calendars and goodies…and it’s not even Black Friday yet. Yikes.

Michelle

nice selection. I’ll keep these in mind on Black Friday!!
