What inspired you to start your own subscription box?
"I was actually inspired after reading "The Nightingale" by Kristin Hannah. I was so moved after reading the book that I knew I had to gift it to someone else so they could read it. My mom's birthday was coming up, and I came up with the idea to include a few pieces of items that were actually described in the book to enhance the experience. My mother LOVED it. I've always been an entrepreneur and after a few brainstorming sessions- Once Upon a Book Club was born."
What is your best moment as a small subscription box business owner?
"The best day was the week my first box shipped out. Everyone on social media was super excited behind the idea of "Once Upon a Book Club". They were tagging me- sending me personal notes about how I have changed reading a book for them, and how the "Experience" of opening gifts of items actually described in the book really did feel like they were there. This gave me the confidence to move forward- and I knew I had created something special."
