Wow, that blanket and platter are gorgeous!

All pretty, but not my decor style so it wouldn’t make sense even if I wanted to splurge. I’d rather just buy a wool blend throw I like. (You can get $30 off a purchase on the Coyuchi website for signing up for their newsletter which would make the one above about $118 – but I’d be more likely to grab a $55 alpaca throw from SobelatHome.)

I watched the unboxing on the Globein page yesterday and thought about it overnight and actually JUST took the plunge and bought one. It’s pricey but I know I’ll use everything in it and the items are so nice. I got free shipping automatically and was able to use code “ARTISAN” to get 10% off too, by the way.

What % of wool in the blanket?

It’s a Coyuchi brand blanket – Carmel Washable Organic Cotton & Wool blend. I looked on their website but still didn’t see material %’s….but maybe you can try searching somewhere else?

what the heck? This looks like one of their regular monthly boxes. How does it cost $190?

I’m a huge fan of their monthly boxes, but that platter is HUGE (and gorgeous) and they’ve never had a full sized wool blend blanket in any of their monthly boxes. The actual woven basket is also double layered and larger than the “normal” ones too. They have an unboxing video on the Globein Facebook page where you can get a better idea of the items.

The platter is gorgeous for those who decorate in those colors! I do love the blue/white look, but my house is in fall tones. The only place I can sneak blue in is the guest room.
