Glossybox posted this to me on Facebook:

“Hi Liz! Sorry for the confusion! This isn’t taking the place of a product in your box. No worries! 😁”

Thank you for clarifying! The box still has potential. I’m happy with the rituals and clove product.

You’re welcome! I’m really glad that they aren’t using this in place of an item — it’s still weird to me, though, that they used it as a spoiler if they aren’t.

Cristina

Yay!

The coupon is not a product. I just got a reply from Glossybox.

The promo code is “FREETABLET” for the Tablet Plus Travel Club?? Someone who did not read carefully or who first language is not English might think they are getting a table when they subscribe. 😮

Do we think this voucher is pictured as one of the items on the Glossybox.com home page? There must be a reason that the items have bows on them this month…. to roll up this $50 watch voucher with a bow elastic and consider it one of those pictured items? The items mystery items have not had bows in the past have they?

sheesh a $50 coupon for a watch you might not want > that costs> $159 as a spoiler??, where are the at least 3 full sizes?? A spoiler clearly should not be a coupon. Last month they gave some people a meal one that comes as a freebie everywhere–how does that work to increase satisfaction?? Somebody at THG really needs to give this some thought. Its NOT helping. I am going to redeem my dots and cancel and vow to never look at their promotions/spoilers ever again

GB included a $30 HelloFresh card in my September box, which apparently was only good in the States, and I live in Canada. I am so done with this trash box and I’m thrilled that I used my Glossydots for this.

October will be my last month and I cannot wait to cancel as soon as I see October has shipped.

What Happened to Glossy Box? You use to be my favorite box. I even purchased your LE Boxes. I feel sad you’ve come to this.

I will not let you do me wrong again. No way, don’t fall for it.

I cancelled on 9/17/17 and was charge for 3 more month’s 10/1/17 AND not the $30.00 from before but full price this time…. Contacted them and they said i should of cancelled on the 9/14/17 not on the 17th so i’m stuck with 3 more boxes and out $60.00 :/

I said this back when they were offering an iPhone case as a free gift – this is downright pathetic.

Looks like they are grasping on to anything and everything to stay afloat.

What a nitemare!

maybe its possible that the $50 coupon doesn’t count for an item – though there would be a descrepany between the main page picture on glossybox vs, the sneak peek. One shows 6 items, then the sneak peek shows 5. The only reason I think the coupon may not be part of the box is it says that the value of the box is $69/ but I wonder if that is the value of just the 3 full size items. — Still glad I’m done this month with the box.

Cristina

Wow, I was liking this box until this. This has to be an extra, right? They can’t really think this is one of the items….

Reply ButtonReply

Rayveniael

I think its gotta be extra. Because Happy Budda is worth $15, and so is the Clove Lippie ($15) , so that’s $30 and they said the 3 full size items are valued at $68. So we have a $38 discrepancy, and not $50, so let’s hope that is not part of the items lol.

Reply ButtonReply

Wendy B

The whole box is valued at over $69, not just the full sized items, so I don’t think it’s possible to count this voucher as an item.

*Raises hand* Another grateful lady, extremely happy I got off the Glossybox ship before it had COMPLETELY sunk. Yikes. Worst subscription I have ever dealt with, as far as customer service, products, ease of anything… Please stay away from this sub if you want to keep your sanity (and you’re money to spend on -actual- beauty products)!

That watch certificate is a big flipping Nope-Zilla from me. It’s not even a watch, its a 50 credit…. if it was a watch, I might be more understanding, but a little confused about the whole beautybox/jewelry thing. Glad I used my glossydots this month. This box is going the route of Blue Velveteen…..

Easy easy easy to say goodbye to this box. Sorry to see it go out like this. 🙁 Was a good box before.

Michelle

Thank God this is my last box.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

Huh? Glad last month was my last.

I got an email this morning with the usual pic with the products covered and only stopped by to see if anybody had guessed what they are yet.

Ashby

I’ll get my Rituals somewhere else. So glad I didn’t jump on Glossybox again. I’m officially done for good. Who thought a watch coupon was so good they should throw it out as a spoiler??! 😳😂

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

Ulta carries Rituals now and they seem to have a lot of gift with purchases!

Reply ButtonReply

Maggie

Surely they aren’t counting this as an item. I’m mean, they’re coupons. This is really strange.

Reply ButtonReply

Noelle L

I have to chime in…this does not look like a beauty box any longer…Liz will have to categorize something else… 🙂 I don’t think Glossybox knows their customer anymore..

Travel membership and watch voucher..? Not even close. So happy I didn’t resub…This would be super disappointing box.

Reply ButtonReply

Sheila

I thought the watch was as bad as it could get, but no, Glossybox never fails to disappoint! A travel club?? I’m sure they will have access to our payment info and then we can deal with another C.S. to have to cancel this membership too! What is next, Time Shares???

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren

Is this considered an item?

A coupon on watches should not be an item in a beauty box. Period.

Reply ButtonReply

IV_19

A full size one!

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren

seriously? or is this like one of the hello fresh coupons that get thrown in other sub boxes.

Amy

Thank god I canceled from this mess of a sub box. I would be so mad, a coupon for a watch!

Reply ButtonReply

SMZ

Please don’t call this a “gift card” if it’s not a true gift card. I suspect it’s more of a “coupon ” with a lot of limitations. If there are ANY restrictions or if it’s not stackable I don’t consider this a real gift card!

Reply ButtonReply

Barbara Lercara

Wow a 50 dollar gift card to buy a 150 dollar watch??? So glad I used points on this box and I am going to cancel. GB has gotten AWFUL.

Reply ButtonReply

Karenkk

This is a joke. Why not include 5 coupons and call it a box?

Reply ButtonReply

Meghan

My last box on my 3/10, so glad I cancelled. Again. Saw the 3/10 after over a year away and though “maybe they’re better now” nope, not at all.

Reply ButtonReply

viola

wow this is awful

Reply ButtonReply

Susan

WHAT the heck!!??!! I don’t subscribe to GB to buy watches! This is the last straw. I’m getting my 1.000 points next month, free box and done. It was a good run while it lasted.

To the people in charge now – You are running this sub into the ground!
