This is my last box with them and regardless of what’s in it I am done.

Didn’t glossybox get bought out by the same people who own look fantastic? If so, id take a chance on them. Can anyone confirm?

Wendy B

Yes. The Hut Group, which owns Look Fantastic, purchased Glossybox in mid August.

Glossy box is back. So excited about the rituals that i resubscribed after cancelling because of the two junk boxes in a row. I will be highly pissed if I don’t get the rituals.

As much as I love Rituals, I’d much rather purchase their items from Ulta than sign back up for Glossybox and their horrible customer service.

Looking forward to this box!

I also cancelled after September. Every time I have rejoined GB for a spoiler, I’ve ended up not getting the spoiler item. Too many variations and no trust.

Julie

Yup, same here. I just don’t trust their deals anymore.

I’ve cancelled, I was a member for like 5 years!!! I’m just finished w glossy box. It’s not exciting anymore and I’m kinda over the body wash… we’ve received it before in several fragrances/sizes so not exciting at all.

Julie

I’m sort of over Glossybox after they sent me crappy boxes with drugstore products while I was paying a higher price than the people on the $10 deal who were getting better products.

I am in the same boat, paid full price after their coupon failed just to get Tarte sunscreen, unfortunately I was new to all this and paid for full year. Misunderstood cancellation policy–thought I would get part of my $200 back after next 2 bombs and have been underwhelmed by tiny samples and angered by non-existant customer service. The few full-sized items have been nothing anyone wants or does not already have a few of, often they are the cheap brands or even unheard of brands. I don’t care if they are now owned by The Hut Group that owns Look fantastic; I just no longer trust them and even if they started to bring back the amazing boxes I thought I’d signed up for, I won’t resub EVER–too much of a bad taste to ever be pulled back in by any of their come-ons. I sincerely hope it turns out well for anyone who does–it stands to reason they would treat you better since they can’t be worse than they are now.

Julie, I HEAR you! I keep getting pulled in and then disappointed. I paid regular last year and never received any of the fabulous items featured. It all started with the Nuxe body oil…..I need to quit looking at them, especially with the holiday exclusives approaching. Lol

katie

Exactly!

I actually love this brand of body wash. Hopefully it IS the actual fullsize. I used glossy points but its super likely I won’t continue after this months.

Are these two items definitely going to be in every box? I know they have variants but I really want to know before purchasing.

Thanks,

Jeanette

Ahhhh couldn’t resist re-subscribing! The last few boxes were awful, but Oct is shaping up to be a winner. Sucks I have to get Sept in order to get the $15 promo for Oct and Nov tho.

Reply ButtonReply

bria

Promo isn’t valid, is there another one? I finally got rid of glossy box and now I’m crawling back!

Melissa

Are you freaking kidding me? I just canceled – I thought September was pretty bad, so I canceled, and now they are finally having something I *really* want! Ugh!

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Lol yep I was going to say that 😢

Amy

Me, too! After May, June, and July, I bailed. Now, it looks decent.

Jenny

Finally a month that can make me excited. The last 3 months were awful ! I miss the old glossy box. if they throw out the deals like 30$ for 3 again, I’ll come back in a heart beat

Marie

I’m hopping mad right now. I resubscribed on September 1st to use my glossydots, thinking I would get the September box and cancelled on September 14th. Well, they sent me an August box for my glossydots (which was a duplicate for me since I already paid for one under my old subscription.) And now I found out that they charged me on September 25th for the September box. Super shady.

vanessa

Rapidly losing respect for GB!

Reply ButtonReply

Marie

Update: They answered my request for refund saying that they were still selling the August box until September 4th. Huh?

Did anyone else sign up September 1st-September 3rd and if so, which box started your subscription?

Ashby

I want that! But now that they had their 3 months for $10, I’m not gonna bite for $15.
