  1. Hi,

    I’m new to this, I subscribed to Beauty Box 5 on Aug.2, for a 3 month period. I have read some comments about what’s
    Going on and have wrote them personally without a response.
    My account still says pending, any advice or how to cancel to receive my payments back. I was excited for this box, but it should be exciting not stressful in my opinion.

    • No one buy from BB5 this company went down in the houston flood check out their facebook page. They have been reported to the better business bureau alot.

      • Oh boy, I still have five boxes to receive from them. I guess at this point, I will consider it as a loss. I doubt I will recover my money. Sad.

  2. I ordered this box on June 26th and was charged for it the next day. I have not received my July box yet, although it said on my account that it shipped and should arrive today. I will not hold my breath. My August box still says processing. After multiple unanswered emails, I canceled my subscription. Luckily the cancellation was the easiest thing to do with this. I have quite a few subscription boxes and this by far is not worth the hassle. I am happy to know that I am not alone in this. I can only assume after reading other comments about their social media being shut down on multiple levels either means that they are defunct or tired of the negativity people are posting regarding their customer service and shipping.

  3. I find it strange that no spoiler has been given for the August box. They usually have a spoiler for it by the 2nd week and I get the box at the very end of the month. The no spoiler has me nervous they have shut down.

  4. I am curious as well about august boxes. I cancelled, but paid for this month yet, they never answer email, and now no reply on Facebook, where they generally answer …also, I went into my profile when I cancelled and erased my card number from their system, so they hopefully won’t charge it next month….something is a bit off by this company and it don’t look great..I’ve heard they are a small growing company, but still..keeping people in the loop would have gone a long way

    • I just canceled also,we should have heard something about August boxes by now.They still owe me my August box but untill they get it togetherim out .Subscribtions are supposed to be fun not stressful. I went and looked on their instagram account and its locked down where you cant post anything, this should have been resolved by now.Good luck beautybox 5 hope you get it together, it was fun while it lasted

  5. Has anyone heard any information about the August boxes? I understand a issue with last month, but does this mean there’s going to be a issue every month now? They sure don’t have any issues taking our money on time every month!?

    • I didn’t get a July box, although they billed me for one. They aren’t answering emails or social media messages. My box was billed July 5, and it is still “processing”. I’m in Canada, so I’m assuming they just decided not to ship any Canadian boxes. It seems to be that they are out of business and they haven’t announced it yet. It would be nice if people either got refunds or the boxes that they paid for….

    • Not a word from tbem about August boxes,I said I forgave them but I’m thinking about canceling now. Before they get me for another three months

        • I just wanted to come on here and say ,I ended up loving everything in my box.Could they have sent a better apology gift …I think so .But I’ve desided to forgive them for now .That said please beautybox 5 just keep us campers in the loop and we will be happy

Hmmm still haven’t received a shipping notice for my promised July box and its August 11th .I always liked them but I think I’ve had enough of bad business practices with little to no communication and we already received that brush in another box from them .And to be honest I expected to be blown away by them for their mistakes….I’m not

  10. I was a loyal and happy customer until this past month. I can take a late box what I cannot take is a lack of response to my email and then lying to me not once but twice that the boxes were being shipped when they weren’t. That was blatantly unprofessional and disrespectful to many many other people who also had the same complaint. That left an incredibly bad taste in my mouth. My loyalty is done and so is my patronage. I will still read the monthly reviews……..whenever they decide to ship said boxes however.

    • I have been a subscriber with beauty box 5 since December 2015 and I also was just forced to cancel. I also was still forgiving for July box being late, however they kept us posted and let us know there was a shipping error. They were apologetic and even sent a extra item, nice! Then turn around and still charge the first of August for August box and here it is the 25th and not one single explanation from them to their loyal customers! I agree, very unprofessional! Other subscriptions are cheaper and don’t have issues and better samples! Definitely going to try boxy charm or glossy box I believe instead! Hopefully I will still receive my August box or a refund soon!

  11. To be blunt – I think it’s bull crap that most of us regular paying subscribers received NO email regarding their shipping issues. I have not received one notice from them and I know I’m not the only one. It takes 20 seconds to group email your paying subscribers to keep them updated.

  12. I don’t really mind that there has been a shipping delay since they’ve been pretty transparent about it. But in my opinion, this box doesn’t seem worth the wait. I’ve been a BB5 subscriber for almost 2 years and I feel like I’m not nearly as excited or pleased with boxes in the last 6-8 months than I used to be.

    It’s really nice of them to include an extra brush to say sorry, but I already have that brush (and it’s not a type of brush I really need more than one of), since it’s from a past box. 🙁

    • I just got my box today (Aug 19th) and I didn’t get any extra “I’m sorry I keep shipping your box extremely late” gift. No extra brush. No extra nothing. I had forgotten I even get this box and thought this was the August box. Imagine my surprise when I came on MSA to find out it was my July box! 😂

  13. I love bb5! Been subbed for almost 2 years and have never had a late box before. My boxes arrive between the 18th-21st every single month. Their CS has been great for me as well. They respond within 24hrs. I can definitely forgive them for one late month!

    • As soon as I receive the shipping information, I will forgive them 🙂

  14. Oooh… I am actually excited about the eyeliner! And the bb5 brush! I know the boxes are really late, but it’s still a good value for such a low price!! And I think it was nice of them to include a free extra item 🙂 I like the color of the nail polish too! I think I would like this box 🙂 I wonder what’s in the next box, shouldn’t it be coming in August as well? I hope so, and I hope they can put some spoilers up for the next box as well 🙂

  15. Did you notice the theme “LET’S GET LOST” kind of ironic giving all the late shipping/no shipping and no communication from CS, etc.

  16. It is mid August and we still receiving July spoilers!!?? I like the items, but soooooo frustrated and annoyed with the shipping delay. Sent them e-mail, no response. August 11 – no shipping information for July box. Why cannot they adopt Julep or Ipsy business model. These subs are like a clock when it comes to shipping.

  18. I still haven’t gotten a shipping email! I’m on an annual sub, I have already cancelled, my last box will be September! So over this box, late shipping nearly every single month with little to no communication with their customers and the products over the last few months have gone Way down hill IMO. Glad to soon be done with them.

    • Thank you for the reminder!! My annual sub was up in September and I just logged in to cancel. I totally agree that it’s been going downhill. In trying to find my account info in my email, I hadn’t even realized how late in the month they had been sending out boxes. My June box was shipped on 6/25. Yikes! They changed their system around Jan/Feb, and I feel like that’s when product quality and variation started to go down. 🙁 This used to be one of my favorite subs and it was such a good deal. Another one bites the dust.

  19. This is the reason I do not get this box. It ALWAYS ships late with no communication and there is always a “delay with a product”. I call BS on this box. Save your time and money.

    • So went can we expect AUGUST boxes? November?

      This is bad business. I pay in quarters and will be cancelling.

    • That stuff did nothing, & I do mean nothing to my skin. No slight hint of anything.
      I really hope I don’t get that worthless crap in another BB5 box.
