I am trying to receive the 50% off first box subscription and for some reason through paypal it still wants to charge me $30 for the box instead of the $12.50 which I am a little confused about so this is making me not want to subscribe. Not sure if others are having this issue too?

What happened to BlindBox Comics? I stopped receiving their boxes and now their website is down. Now they were good at give quality indy titles to read.

I’m a little sad that you guys don’t seem to review this anymore. Even though right now I am attempting to cut down on how many boxes I have, Comic Bento is a must as a comic collector. They always give such strange and interesting things as well as some pretty good Marvel items. I’m really glad that I subscribed to this a few months ago 🙂 they also sell their previous boxes so I recommend checking those out as well.

The Marvel titles they include are the titles off their discount rack that they sell retailers for $2. And other than Valiant, they don’t offer any good indy titles or DC. I’ve never seen them offer a single title that’s worth the price of the subscription.

Difference of opinion. I just sold Batman #2 of Rebirth (graphic novel not single issue) for a whopping $4 on eBay auction. I like being open to new things and if I didn’t have this box I’d be restricting myself to DC only (which I now have over 200 graphic novels from)
