I bought these with the intent to use them and throw them away fairly often as loofahs in general do not have good ratings on germs and long term use. The first one fell apart on the second shower. I tried to loop it back through, I tried tying the string tighter and before it had made it a week it completely disintegrated into a loofah string. I threw it away. All of them appear to look as it they will have the same level of success and fall apart quickly. Back to the search for loofahs but I think I will stay with stores where I can see and feel if they are put together good.

I’m really getting disappointed in the product size an selection these past couple months. It was so good at first, but honestly most of these products I can try for free at Sephora or any cosmetic counter. As far as the face and body scrubbers. I can pick those up on clearance at marshalls or TJ max, even wal mart. Nothing in these boxes I would go out and spend 30$ on. My cousin also is subscribed and we are both seriously considering canceling our subscription. I get better samples then these on my Sephora Play box and it’s only 10$ Come on Dermstore/beautyfix step it up!!!

I emailed them and was a little disappointed in their reply. I had asked them to explain the value in the box, as it mostly seemed like very small samples to me. No large items like I’ve come to expect. They said they were sorry to hear it, and would understand if I cancelled and waited to see what each box contained before ordering each month. I was hoping that they would recognize how many people were unhappy, and say they would step up their game a bit. If I do it the way they suggested, it enables me to use the $10 off coupon they offer quite often. Which makes no sense to me either. Reward those who just randomly order with $10 off, and not your regular customers. Oh well, I guess I don’t have to understand it, do I??

That’s the only way I do it with BeautyFix – I only buy the boxes I know I will want, like the one with the derma-roller.
I was sort of interested in this one, but I already have two of the Skinceuticals CE Ferulic samples, and the Vichy 89 sample is being offered on their website for free, and while I still would have liked to try out the scrubber and the Glytone, I decided I have way too much stuff to order the box just for that. Especially knowing I’d never use the hair spray, the eyeshadow, or the Peter Thomas Roth mask.
The only thing I don’t like about this kind of an arrangement is that you have to call them to cancel the subscription. I wish there was a way to do it on the website.

I received my box yesterday and am extremely disappointed in it. I paid $26 for very small samples? I feel like I’ve been scammed. Reading reviews of past boxes and seeing how many products have been full size created some FOMO so I had to order. The June box was good but July is ridiculous. The only full size is an eye shadow? Those are filler items as far as I’m concerned. They couldn’t come up with anything better? Admittedly the shadow container is stunning and expensive looking but I wouldn’t buy it on its own. They got my money and I got samples I can get for free at the cosmetics counter. Cancel me now. This won’t be a must have box for me. I’ll stick with Look Fantastic and Sephora play which I find reasonably priced for small samples of quality products. As for Sephora for July, my box hit it out of the park. It’s a grand slam for me and I can’t wait to get that one. Back to Beauty Fix, I think Beauty Broken would be a better name for this month’s box. Will be listing the shadow on swap once I figure out the realistic box value for a fair swap. I have the forest color.

I actually initially unsubscribed when I saw first spoilers (ugh eyeshadow, I thought!) then resubscribe with the $10 off coupon when I saw the full items for the box. At first I was super disappointed with this box, the sample sizes are way too small. But the eyeshadow I was dreading, was actually the best thing in the box! I traded my forest for the steamy and it looks amazing with blue eyes. I bought an extra eyeshadow on eBay! So for a box I was meh about I’m glad I found an item I love plus I only paid $15 with the coupon.

I received my box today. Definitely disappointed this month. It’s ALL sample sizes, except the shadow (I got Steamy, it’s the blushy neutral shade) & the scrubber thingy.
Don’t get me wrong, the shadow is really pretty, but even though it is Jane Iredale, it’s not special enough for me to specifically request it or sub to a box for it. It’s also surprisingly smaller than I expected & weighs nothing! Good for travel for sure.
All of the samples look fairly appetizing – I’ve used the Truffle eye cream, particularly good during drier months for extra moisture, they’re all so small. Very excited to try the Vichy & Skinceuticals because of all your comments.
Insult to injury, my Erno Lazlo was half empty, did anyone else have that issue? ☹

My Erno Laszlo was almost empty. About a quarter full. No leakage in the box either, so I guess they just shipped them this way. I’ve had BeautyFix for about a year now, and this month’s box is the worst box they have ever sent. My Boxycharm had a higher value and costs 6 bucks less. My friend cancelled last month, and the first thing I told them was “July was a total rip off. Good call on cancelling this month.” I feel like they completely scammed everyone with this month’s box. And usually I give them glowing reviews and recommendations by mouth. This month’s box is appalling, for what we paid. 🙁

I have two subs to this box, and one came with a full sample of the Erno Laszlo, the other was a quarter full. They aren’t packing our stuff well enough. It leaked in shipping. I know because the half full one was slightly wet when I picked it up out of the box.

I’m at the point where I’m going to cancel all my boxes not under contract, & focus on the makeup & skin care lines I like. If I sub to a box for $25 box a month but only get 1 or 2 items I like & actually use, what’s the point?

I was a bit disappointed in the small sample sizes of the products this month, since their website does boast that they send mostly regular and deluxe sized products. That being said, after getting mostly sample sizes these last couple months I decided to call and cancel. There are so many other sites that send sample sizes for a lot less money.

I totally agree…. I just got mine today and I have to say this is the only Box I didn’t like…. Summer boxes this summer are not very impressive. I was more impressed w/the Target box for $7.00

Right? I’m really surprised by the type of products chosen for the Summer boxes for most of my subs.
I expected to be inundated with sunscreens for face, body, hair, sea salt spray, body oils, lighter moisturisers, BB or CC creams, lip glosses, light weight makeup, tanners, lightly summery scented body sprays, etc.
I’m getting a sea salt spray coming in my July Allure box, which I don’t even use & got about 3 or 4 others that could qualify from my idea list 😕

Ive been getting the Beautyfix box for about a year and this one was a real bummer, super small samples, not impressed, they better step it up, theres a lot of competition out there.

I got my box today. I received the eyeshadow in Mermaid which is nice but I was hoping for one of the other colors for a more “dramatic” effect. The samples are as noted in previous comments however I found the CE ferulic to be just as expected!
It does not say how many ml it is, but based on previous samoles I would say it is around 5 ml, which is about 27 dollars value and enough quantity to sample. And the bottle is tranluscent so you can see it is full and not just air! So, I am happy afterall!

Thank you for posting. Wow so many tiny samples this time. I’ve come to expect two full sizes plus a tool from beauty fix. I am usually not one to complain but I will wait for the review to see how it stacks up in value!

I feel the same way – I expect a couple of full size products and mostly deluxe sized samples from BeautyFix. I hope they return to that model. Tiny samples do not win me over.

I am still super excited for this box but for metric challenged readers like me 1 Tablespoon is 15ml. I tracked my box and it should be here tomorrow but hoping for today. I have that skin and co. truffle eye … wonder which of my boxes gave … lol. Never too many of those eye creams… indeed!

Womp womp. Looks like the primary value of this box lays with the full-sized items. The hairspray is supposed to be a $20 value, but it would have been cool if the Vichy was full-sized. I’ll probably still get a second box though. One can never have enough eye cream. 😀

yes I just received mine today. The eye shadow $22 and the facial micro scrubber $8 is the only full size items. So that’s just totaling at $30
Hairspray is a deluxe sample and everything else is just small samples. I’m kind of disappointed

I was disappointed in the sizes too. I never count the tool or items like eyeshadow as full size so not getting a full size hair or beauty product is a bummer for me this month. Especially this month since the tool has to be thrown out after multiple uses and we just received a similar item not that long ago…

As much as I love full size I have so many samples it’s crazy drawer and I finally got mini baskets … lip, eye, moisturizer, cleansers/ masques and misc. to the delight of colleagues, about 12 -14 freebies appeared in the copy room with a use me sign! I’m down to this one box and it’s my treat. Can’t wait to get card down and can add allure and boxy back or maybe a new one to try! PS. Liz must have a pantry!!! 😀

Same here i bought a special chest of drawers because my stash was getting out of control. I didn’t know what I had and if it was going out of date. I was a serious horder. Recently i started loading everyone I know with a bag/box of goodies. There was no way I could use all of the skincare samples , deluxe sample’s, and full size items . So I would rather someone use them then let them sit and go out of date. I probably missed out on my holy grail skin care item because I just had too much. Since then I cut my stash by half , but i still haven’t canceled any boxes.😄 well i did then reordered Allure when they promised a full size Marc Jacobs eyeliner and mascara. They better send it . Lol I also cancelled scent bird and they kept sending cute little sad bird crying emails and i resubbed them because they lowered my price. Im such a sucker.

I don’t think there is a way to know that until someone actually receives the box (or until there is a review here on MSA, for which they also need to first receive the box).
But no, except for Vichy and the scrubber, I don’t think there is a chance of anything being full size.

I saw these spoilers overnight. I added a subscription at 2:30 am and another one at 6:30 am. If the order numbers mean anything, over a thousand orders were placed overnight. If you want this box, you should probably place your order sooner than later. The discount code doesn’t work now. Apparently they won’t need one. I’m very excited for this box!

Not sure why they opted to release the worst two items (the sponge and the makeup item) in the box as spoilers first when everything else was going to be fantastic skincare items. I wonder what the sizes of these items will be. Like others have noted, depending on the size, this box could be an epic box.

Wow – great spoilers! I was little worried after seeing the sponge (bacteria grabbers) and wondering what eyeshadow they would send me, but the rest of the spoilers are great! I love Vichy 89! It’s just as good as PTR Cloud Serum at far less of a price and has minerals in it that PTR does not. The PTR cucumber mask is great – you’ll love it. I feel like I hit the lottery with the CE Ferulic – I’ve been wanting to try it, but it’s just out of my budget even on a sale day. The other products are new to me and I can’t wait to try them!
