Ipsy Reveals Are Up for the June 2017 Glam Bag!

I saw that i was getting the Beauty For Real eyeliner and I’m like okay I can so rock the gold color ( I love color) but nope it’s plain brown. What’s the point of having edgy themes every month if you send the same colors all the time? I have emailed them and updated my profile that I don’t even want eyeliners but figured trying a gold color could be different…nope

they just shipped my bag so I finally know what shades I’m getting – the coral for the trust fund polish, the cool pink for the nyx, and the bronze for the city color eyeshadow

I’m really happy about the nail polish and nyx whipped lip/cheek product! At the same time a bit bummed about the eyeshadow because the turquoise looks gorgeous. I never thought it would happen, but after 4 bronzey shadows in a row I’m tiring of them =/

I’m always happy with my bags. I receive two each month and for the most part, they are drastically different each month with maybe one duplicate item: this month I got the balm blush in each bag, but everything else is different. Though I did receive two nail polishes (both different brands), but that’s ok because I prefer these in every bag but never seem to be able to score Trust Fund in any bag. Maybe one day 🙂

Over all, very excited and in my opinion worth the 20 I spend each month for two bags!

This will be my first Ipsy bag.

All in all a pretty good selection of products this month (I like that they paid attention to the fact that I have curly hair) but not the most exciting bag. But then again, the list of products in this month’s bag doesn’t really seem to excite me this month.

NYX lip & cheek (hope it’s not the brown, probably will be though)
BioRepublic mask
The balm blush
Doucce mascara (I already have this in full size & I love it)
City colors shadow (I’ve received tons of bronze shadows in prior bags)

I’m bummed I didn’t get the Vasanti brighten up cleanser and the makeup sponge and even though this month a lot of my items are very similar to things I’ve received several times before from Ipsy I’m still not to upset with my bag.
I just love Ipsy and think it’s well worth the money.

I don’t hate it but other than the gorgeous nail polish I’m not excited about it. A blush and a lip/cheek color is worthless to someone who doesn’t use blush, highlighter, or contour/bronzer. Would’ve been a great bag if those 2 items were other samples that I would use.

Overall, I’m really happy with my bag! I just hope my NYX item is one of the two pink colors since cocoa bean wouldn’t look great on my skin tone. The only item I’m not thrilled about is the blush… only because I literally ordered that very color from HauteLook about a week ago, heh.

I looked at all of June’s items and there are a lot of items this month that I’d be happy with. It would be neat if Ipsy would let you check off which out of all the items offered in that month you would’ve liked to receive other than the five that were chosen for you. This would help with future bags.

SUPER THRILLED with my bag after last month’s bust. I told them I was literally going to kill somebody if I got another highlighter or bronzer/blush. And I got the UD anyway in Sin.

I subscribe for my daughter as a gift and she’s getting the NYX Whipped Souffle’, the Trust Fund Nail polish also but getting the 2 sheet masks, the Balm Springs blush and the City whatever eyeshadow. If she gets it in turquoise/green and doesn’t want it I’m so taking that…

All in all I’m over the moon about this month. This makes up for my totally suck-a-doodle Birchbox this month. It was so bad I went with the curated and even that was a snoozefest. Think I will cancel, Play is on the fence and BoxyCharm is always my #1 with Ipsy a close second

The sneak peeks for June didn’t thrill me, and I was expecting to be very disappointed in my June bag. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I will be receiving:

I am not big on nail polish, but do occasionally use it. At least this is a color I don’t already have.

•Hey Honey Uncover DETOXIFYING MUD MASK
I requested this, but never got a confirmation that I would be receiving this. I’m pleased that I will received it.

•PEEK Beauty Multiuse Black Primer
I probably wouldn’t buy this if left to my own devices, but I’m game for trying new things. The ingredients list is great–nothing that I am leery of.

•MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua XL Eye Pencil in M-10 Matte Black
I don’t need a black eyeliner, but it’ll get used.

•PÜR Mini Fully Charged Magnetic Mascara
With the need to replace mascara every three months for hygienic reasons, I am always glad to receive mascara. It’ll be interesting to see if the magnetic technology actually does anything special. I still do all my mascara purchasing from the drugstore cuz I have yet to find anything high-end that performs in anyway more impressively than what I can find in with a lower price tag.
