Everyone keeps mentioning a mermaid blanket but it’s summer so that seems odd to me plus this is just a regular monthly box not a LE so a blanket seems too much esp with the $125 listed value

I’ve generally been a far bigger fan of their fall and winter boxes than summer (same for other boxes). I’m far more likely to head to the mountains than the beach/pool, none of the books we’ve received have been up my alley, and none of the sunglasses/hats/coverups I’ve received in subscription boxes have ever fit. And my 6-month upgrade from November using the steep holiday discount just expired… So I think it might be time to take a PopSugar vacation, at least for the summer!

My ultimate summer box would be: *prays to the box gods*
Mermaids- set of mermaid makup brushes
Palm Trees- cute printed tumbler with the freezing gel and matching pool/beach towel
Waves- blue ocean scented candle
Beach Reads- beach/summer themed colouring book (I know its not a “read” but I have toddlers so I can’t “read” around water. But, I could doodle or use it to keep them occupied)
Oh and can’t forget SPF- the Kate Somerville UncompliKated SPF 50 setting spray would be AMAZEBALLS

I hate to say, but I doubt it. The makeup brushes that have been released lately have been unicorn themed, I don’t think I’ve seen any for mermaids, except for one weird wide one that I came across. There was a beachy candle in February’s box, and even though it was an “extra” item I doubt they’d do it again so soon.

Jennifer.. IDK if you actually read my post LOL But, I wasn’t making assumptions on what the PS June box is going to be…. I was saying, if I made a summer box with the themes released here, this is what my personal picks for the box would be.. And there are a bunch of mermaid brush sets. Some are in cute little clam shell holders and some have tails as handles.. google image search “Mermaid makeup brush set”, they’re cute.. 🙂

Hard pass on a mermaid blanket. I can be down for some whimsy but that’s too much (for me, anyway). Would love if they included the new Glossier sunscreen (or any Glossier item).
I’m hoping for a teal or white mermaid tail blanket, anything that smells like coconut, a good sunscreen and a candle! A Paleo snack would be good too considering I don’t eat sugar so I’ve never been able to indulge in any of the edibles they send.

I was thinking the same thing. I’m not complaining at all, but it seems like the RVs for most PS boxes is around $125 (granted, sometimes with some absurdly valued items inside) so that doesn’t seem like much of an earth shattering announcement.
I know this box gets a lot of heat but every month I can’t help but think what an insanely great value it is, especially if you were able to take advantage of one of the $20 per box deals. I actually love Popsugar.

As for a book, let it be a Mary Higgins Clark mystery – light mystery, with a bit of romance.

I would love a book! Sometimes the best books I have read were books I would have never picked up on my own, so I like getting out of my comfort zone of just books I pick.
I am betting that “wave” refers to hair, like a sea salt spray. If we have to get one, here’s hoping its Bumble and Bumble!
I don’t particularly want a mermaid blanket, they look incredibly cute but not very practical. However, I love the beach so I am loving this theme. I cant wait for a spoiler!

Mermaid makeup brushes. Something pineapple and coconut flavor or scent. Hopefully a fabulous mystery book. Some kind of wave hair product, sunscreen and/or lip product.? Beach tote or pouch with palm trees on it. Sunglasses would be nice, but I doubt it. Have to save something for next month.

I love your curation!! My 16 yr old daughter is praying it be the mermaid makeup brushes too LOL (I just added her the tail blanket from FFF so I’m hoping it isn’t that!) Summer book to gift to my mom would be a nice little surprise treat for her.. A coconut body product and sun glasses would be SOH awesome for myself!!! We live in Arizona and have a pool so anything summer will be used and appreciated for sure 🙂

Me too! I love the feel of an actual book too! I never buy fiction. I read historical books and biographies so I would LOVE to have a good beach read so I can lose myself into fiction for a change. PLEASE no cocktail or cookbooks! I don’t drink alcohol and I hate to cook!
