Well I have to agree that the box as a whole isn’t great, but those horseshoe toothpicks are super neat 🙂

Does anyone else think cloth coasters defeat the purpose of coasters? Wouldn’t the liquid soak through?

Instead of the coasters, I think it would have been cool to have a dishtowel with a mint julep recipe on it that you could potentially frame for your kitchen or bar area. But I think the execution for the theme was good, but a little lightn

I have ordered the last 2 boxes and they were really cool but money is tight and I can’t just be a box addict like I want to be. Anyway I didn’t order this box and am a little happy that I didn’t. I love Liz and feel almost bad to say this but, this box was so not for me. Sorry lol

As a Kentuckian who lives in Derby country the only thing Derby-seque is the copper cup. A mint julep recipe card would have been a great addition. I am guessing the cloth napkins are a nod to the hats women wear. The Derby is the run for the roses, perhaps something scented with roses. This is my least favorite box from Luxepineapple Home.
I was really looking forward to this box thinking it would be a nod to my home state. The toothpicks are cute, but I think this box missed the mark.

Agreed. This was my least favorite home box, and really had the potential to be the best. The copper cup was a great start. I do like that and it seems high quality. I was excited about the beautiful napkins, but expected them to be the normal sized lap napkins. They are just a weird size for me. And the second set of napkins were napkin overkill. So half the items in the box were cloth napkins! The box really did feel like it was missing something. Something Rose related would have been a really nice touch.

I agree that the box seemed light. A second cup would have made this a good box. Hope the next box is better.

Mine came yesterday. The box itself was too big for what was sent and the items were floating around. One of my picks was broken. It really seemed like something was missing from this box– maybe if they had included a second cup instead of offering it as an add-on the box would have seemed more “balanced” for me.

I received my box yesterday and I loved it! Great theme. The copper cup is even better than I imagined. Perfect for a mini bouquet of flowers. I only received 3 of the linen napkins but I know when I write to Liz of LP she’ll fix it right away.

Whew! Glad i dodged that bullet. Nothing in this box is my taste/style. I hate florals and i dont use cloth napkins. The copper glass is cool though. A set would have been nice but i would have had to pay more just to get a 2nd glass.
