I wanted to get this, but the samples are so tiny! I just don’t think I can get much use out of any of them. The only one I really want to try is the Josie Maran, so I think I’ll order that one in full size instead.

I decided to buy this kit and ended up getting yet another palette instead. Go figure. Literally been WAITING for this to come out…

I have skipped this kit for the last few years due to product overload, but I use sunscreen year round, so I will probably pick it up when available in store with Play! card for extra points. I like how Sephora sell this kit early in the year so that we have all spring/summer to use up the products and donates to charity.
My recent favorite sunscreen is Cotz which I got in Birchbox last year. It seems like the exact one is discontinued, but it was tinted and had primer like texture and not greasy at all. My other favorite is Ipkn Apple Sun Cream which comes out white, but blend in matte. For body, I like Clarins Oil Spray.

I got this and Power to the Pickle (someone else’s joke, worth repeating) to get the free shipping plus some SKII with my points.

No hesitation, no shame.

Lol just this morning, I thought I had a problem 😉

Wasn’t going to order when it was only available on the app, but now that it’s on the website, I caved. If nothing else, the bag is ridiculously cute.

Just bought mine on the app and used my points to get some SK-II. I love St. Tropez and have actually won a lot of their products from giveaways and sweepstakes and love how they have a wonderful scent and deliver wonderful tanned skin safely. That bottle is worth just as much as the entire kit I believe. I hope I like the other products and will see if I decide to keep it or return it once I get it in the mail. I am still on the fence but took the plunge because I’m in need of sun products

If you search by item number you can purchase it without having to use the app. 1931294

Thank you. I have the app, but it wasn’t working for me. I was still able to get it. Thanks again for posting. Have a great day!!

Got it! Even with the repeat brands I will use enough of this that it’s worth it and I can swap any that I can’t use. Used the code GLOWON and received a tarte highlighter! Love their Blush so that’s awesome to try out.

I got one at JCP the other day, but I wanted both! I’m getting married in October, and figure these products will work well for honeymoon travel. <3

Ordered mine this morning! I’m out all day every day in the summer and can never quite find the right facial SPF, so I’m glad to try a whole bunch of them and see what I like best.

Well. I am not tempted. First off, I do not use apps to shop so I am always kind of turned off by app-only deals (even if they later open up to other methods of purchase). Second, the large self-tanner container is a huge turn off and not something I will ever use. Third, I see at least a few products (PTR, Shiseido) that are in this kit every year. Also I don’t like those Fresh balms — they actually make my lips crack and peel.

I used to get so excited over these, too.

lexie

Wow Ragan, I agree with EVERY single point you made! 🙂

Lily

Ok what is it with Fresh balms? I too get dry lips but have not seen reviews from uses complaining, so I thought it was just me!

Ragan

For me, I think it is the SPF ingredients. A lot of the chemical sunscreens give me rashes on my skin (I can sometimes get away with some of them on the body but never on the face) and I seem to be having the same problem with my lips. I pretty much can’t use any SPF lip balms.

reneeglow

I totally agree – I have no interest in self-tanner or bronzer, and there aren’t enough new/non-repeat products to offset those. Also, I personally just really hate that Josie Maran SPF that’s in both kits this year.

@reneeglow, I thought I was the only one who hated that Josie Maran product. None of her products work on my skin, period. I did purchase the Sun Safety kit but I agree, so many repeat brands (from last year, and the year before). I wish they’d branch out more as there’s a tremendous sun protection market out there. I still believe sampling is the best way to get people to buy!
