By the way, the Urban Decay shadow and Lancome mascara in the Blushing Beauty are both full size, So $19 and $27.50. The bag’s cute, too. I’m lovin it.

Oh man (said in a very whiny voice), I was near a J.C. Penney today, and I completely spaced about these kits! Argh! The Let It Glow kit looks really tempting, so hopefully they’ll have one next time I’m near a Penneys.

I managed to get the very last Let Love Glow and the second to last Blushing Beauty Kits at my local store. They both rang up at the correct price, so no discounts for me though. They didn’t have any of the Sun Safety, which was the one I really wanted most, but hopefully they will get more in again.

The “Let Love Glow Kit” is the first one I actually fell in love with.
Do the J.C Penny kits ever become available on the JC Penny Site?
Will they ever be available on Sephora’s site?

Oh I know, same with me. The workers at mine will not give out samples no matter what. I bring in my coupons for free samples and they play stupid. I get so upset with them because they will not help you at all. The original store the workers are amazing and nice. I dont know why they send out sample coupons just for JC Pennys Sephora especially if the employees wont respect the coupons. 🙁 sorry just don’t understand why they are like that ulta also. But sephora is nice.

I just looked on Sephora’s site and it says the full-size is .16 oz. So this one is almost full-size.

Yes, I got one of these almost a year ago as one of their free promo code deals, and it is indeed nearly full sized. I actually love it, because it is much more portable than a full size (I can’t be sure, but I feel like maybe the pan is a little smaller but deeper than the full sized? So it appears smaller but still holds a lot. That is just a theory though). The pan size is definitely big enough that I have no problems fitting a brush into it, like you do with some samples. Anyways, I’ve been using it on a semi-regular basis since I got it, and have barely made a dent. Definitely worth it!

I forgot to add that they had not seen the Sun Safety Kit at all yet at my JCP. I’m going to stop in this weekend and see if they have any yet. The JCP Sephora Favorites always seem to be such a better deal to me. Plus you get a bag with them 🙂

I am also in Wisconsin! I went to my nearest JCP (Southridge mall in Greendale, WI) after work the day this was posted and they had about 10 Blushing Beauty bags left, an entire end cap full of the Lash Out kit and only 2 Let Love Glow kits. The woman who checked me out said they got them in the day before and they flew off the shelves. I bought a Blushing Beauty and a Let Love Glow kit. The Let Love Glow rang up at $36 instead of $42 which was an added bonus! The cashier even mentioned it to her manager that was behind the counter and we made sure she didn’t accidentally ring the $36 Blush kit twice. Pretty sure she was buying the last one on the shelf the second I left!

They are never online! I rely on blogger sites to let me know when they are spotted and then head to a JCP as soon as I am able if there is one I like. At least by me, they usually sell out within a day or two. Then they will get another shipment at some point and the cycle repeats. If you ask nicely, sometimes you can get them to call you when they restock. If your JCP isn’t easy to stop at, you can always call first.

Also – the $42 one rang up for $36 at my JCP! It is a great deal either way though.

Anyone know how the Sephora in jcpenny sun safety kit compares to the regular Sephora sun safety kit. I desperately need to try some new sunscreen before I buy any and want to get the best kit available.

I’ve bought Sephora’s Sun Safety kit the previous three years and there were more items each time.
Last year there were 15 products for $32. So, slightly cheaper per item although it may vary.

I’ve found that Sephora employees are not very well informed when it comes to items that aren’t already included in the stores they’re working in. When the Quench Your Skin kit came out in early January (or maybe it was late December), I was on the lookout for it in the stores. There are many Sephoras near me, and up until mid-February I’d go into any one of them if I was near it, and ask about it. What was nice, was that they would ask other associates, but literally no one knew what I was talking about. A few times, we even went online so I could show them. I must have spoken to at least 20 people in that month and a half. Ironically, once I found it in the store (on my own), I decided not to buy it. Haha!

I bet it is, because J.C. Penney’s kits are exclusive to J.C. Penney. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are a few overlapped products though. In the past, I would always hit up both stores because their kits were always different.

I usually do too, but unfortunately I have already tried about half of the items in this batch through samples throughout the year and last year, and none of them worked very well for me. I have super sunscreen sensitive skin though, so that isn’t unusual.

That kit is always worth it; with the coupon for a free full size, it’s basically like getting a bunch of samples for free.

Seeing the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer sample in the Sun Safety Kit reminded that I’ve been using that sample regularly since around September of last year (after having received it in July’s Sephora Play box (I think)), and I still haven’t hit pan! That sucker lasts forever! Good thing I like it. 🙂

I love it too and it lasts a long time. And really love that it because it makes my face smell a bit like cocoa. I ended up buying their contour kit in December because it smelled good even if it was a bit overpriced.

Meanwhile, I was excited the year (2015?) when they separated out the bronzers and self tanners from the SPF products. When they re-merged last year, I didn’t bite.
