I’m delighted by the bag! It should be something great like this every month! Not once a year.

This box could be so great… I’ve subbed to this box since the beginning but I’m typically disappointed. I tried to cancel last month but because I’d prepaid, they wouldn’t let me. I tried to call when they had business hours, but my call went to voicemail.. no call back. So I emailed. I eventually got an email back – not a call – saying that I could not cancel, because I had prepaid, I had to go until the end of my payment.. I had prepaid for a year. I never bothered to reply, I was so frustrated.

I’d like to contrast this customer service experience with the service I recently experienced with my iPen subscription box. I couldn’t log into my online account, so I called. It happened to be after hours – I didn’t realize, I’d missed them by an hour, so I left a message, and like the above, I emailed also. I received a call back right away the next day by a lovely sounding agent, who ended up leaving me a message, to correct the issue. I received an email as well (It turned out that site didn’t support Firefox, I needed to use a different browser to log in).

You know what is typically in the H2BAR boxes? Weird clear tiny jars, sample sizes, of unknown brands of products, with stick-on labels, and sometimes they don’t even have labels. The equivalent of foil packs, in my opinion. I just am not going to use things like that. Tea bags, and I don’t drink tea. Sometimes a strange shampoo of a weird brand that I’ve never heard of, but no conditioner. The value is just not there.

What I’d really like is NO SHAMPOO. I have so many bottles now of weird brands. (or at least sets) Instead, lots of deep conditioner! I don’t wash my hair but once a week so a shampoo lasts me a couple years! But I condition like crazy! Hair masks! Lots of deep conditioning hair masks! Why aren’t there ever hair masks and deep conditioners? Is it out of the budget? Hair oils! Strawberry and red eyebrow pencils/pomades/anything red eyebrow!!! Less weird natural products in strange containers. I’m not a natural product fan. Maybe the founders are – terrific, but change it up, it’s a redhead box, not a natural/organic box. No more weird cheap containers. No weird dry shampoo powders in tubes made of cornstarch by who knows? No purple lipsticks, please. I’m a natural redhead. Don’t you know what looks good on a natural redhead? It is not purple lipstick or nail polish. I don’t care if a company offered it up free. This is why I want to cancel the box.

More fun redhead related lifestyle stuff! Be creative, girls! I loved that you included the mermaid sticker last month, why not make up pens with it, or note books?

These tote bags are great! But you need to do it a lot more often.
