I signed up for Birchbox because of the deal. 😀 On my free box I got:
* LOC eye color stick
* A shampoo/bodywash and the label is in French (which leaked on the box)
* PB&J lippie crayon (the seal broke thus it got smooshed..literally cannot use it)
* a good facial moisturizer..cannot remember the brand. Smells great and moisturizing.
* a facial/body/hair all-around cream in a packet…decent size
I emailed them about the leaked bodywash and the smooshed lippie and requested a replacements. They emailed and cannot replace due to inventory issues but they will waive my February monthly fee. I think that’s nice of them.

The only reason I resubbed to BB is because of this deal. And they disappointed once again. In my free box I received:
-SuperGoop CC Cream in medium/dark….I HAVE FAIR SKIN.
-Two tea bag samples? WTF?
-Curl Keeper Original…I have very straight hair.
-theBalm Stainiac with no plastic seal so that immediately gets thrown away!
-Real Chemistry body peel that speaks for itself…..

I did the deal also, even though I already had a sub, I couldn’t pass it up. I signed up with a different email and went for it. Mine was okay.. I got
Beauty Protector protect and Blonde toning shampoo ( I’m a brunette)
Kiehl’s Powerful- Strength line reducing concentrate
Klorane waterproof makeup remover
Living Proof Curl leave in conditioner ( I have straight hair)
Milk Makeup Ubame mascara ( seems like the product is dried out!)
So overall, I didn’t care for 2 of the products. I might be able to use the curl leave in conditioner, even though I don’t have curly hair.. not sure yet. I’m going to try though.

Ugh. This website really is addictive. 🙂 I don’t even want to admit how many subs I’ve signed up for since last January but just in the past few months beauty-wise I’ve joined Julep, Boxycharm, Benevolent Beauty, Sephora Play when subs were open, Ipsy when there was join without wait list last week and now I just gave in to Birchbox and I wasn’t planning on signing up for this one at all!! Lol. At least I can “test drive” them all myself for awhile and figure out which I want to keep and which I can cancel. Sure…ya that’s the story I’ll keep telling myself…

It’s still pretty early for that – they don’t typically reveal next month’s sample choice options until the last third of the current month. The past two months’ sample choice options were revealed on December 21 and November 22 respectively.

Maybe I am being overly optimistic! Usually they are released on the second to last Tuesday for the month (looks like last month it was a Wednesday). If they wait until next week there won’t be much time for sample choics before the month ends!
