Has anyone ever had the postal service lose their box?
I’m sure its because of the influx in holiday shipping, but my tracking says UPS transferred my packed to my local post office to be delivered 6 days ago. I called the postal service and they refuse to create a lost package claim until its been 10 days and Sephora says they no longer have anymore boxes so I can’t get another one sent out. They did refund me my money and gave me an extra 50 pit points.

Unfortunately, it does happen sometimes, or the box gets damaged in the process. It sucks, and especially around this time of year it is more common.

One time the USPS delivered someone else’s box to me. I just opened it and started using the products without looking at the shipping label, since it was a box I was supposed to get anyway (just assumed it was mine). Only later when the USPS delivered me my own box did I realize what must’ve happened. Unfortunately I did not have the original box with the other person’s name/address any longer at that point so there wasn’t anything I could do about it.
I have also received other people’s Birchboxes, but I don’t subscribe any longer so I knew those weren’t mine. I sometimes think the USPS just delivers other people’s packages to me because I get more than everyone else on the street, combined.

Received mine today and my urban decay makeup setting spray is broken.. Its missing the top part that you press down to mist….:( dies anyone know if play replaces their items?

I think it depends on if they have more in stock or not. If they don’t, they will give you extra points though, so it’s worth contacting them. That really sucks though. If the liquid is still in there, you could transfer it into a little travel spray bottle and still use it. That’s what I did with my ELF spray because their bottles suck.

I’m getting 816! I’ve been wanting to try a Lancôme mascara forever so this is a plus. I am not sure how I feel about a Mary Kate & Ashley perfume though lol.

I got my tracking email yesterday and to my surprise it was in my mailbox today. I got box 816…. I love the lip stain it’s so pretty. I’ll be wearing it on Christmas. But it is soooooo tiny! Also love the bag this month! So pretty!

Oh I love this box!! The minimal variation is definitely the way to go. And count me in the minority, but I LOVE dry shampoo. If you’re a dry shampoo person, you can never have enough!

Always a good box, this is one of my favorite beauty subscriptions. That being said though this is a message to all sub boxes give the dry shampoo a rest already. I have so much I wouldn’t need to buy any if I needed it. Also with it being winter who the heck needs a dry shampoo there are so many other samples that you could include.

I agree about the dry shampoo (but that’s only a personal preference, since I don’t use it). I ended up gifting somewhere between 20 – 30 dry shampoos recently (both deluxe & full sized) that I’ve received in various sub & LE boxes. But, those did make some people VERY happy.

Eh, I’m getting 816 and this box is pretty much a bust for me. That said, I still love this subscription. It’s not their fault that I won’t use most of the items. I feel like they’re doing their part in sending a nice variety of high-end samples so some months are winners and others, like this one, aren’t. So while I’m not excited about this particular box I’m still on board.
I don’t wear bold lip colors so the lip stain is a no go, I can’t do dry shampoo because of my lifestyle/routine and hair type so that’s another no, I rarely have time in my morning prep to put on primer so I usually skip that (and consequently have a million previous samples of various primers I’ve never used up), and I hate rose-scented things so the perfume will be offloaded on my mom if she likes it. That’s more her type of scent anyway. I do love that setting spray and use that for special occasions so I will certainly use the sample up. I’ve got a bunch of mascara samples that I’ll never be able to use up but I always like trying a new one.

I absolutely hate rose scented fragrances but I oddly like this one (first rose-based fragrance ever that I’ve lived too!). You might be surprised! But yeah, these boxes can be hit-and-miss, but I feel like this one does better than a lot of them, and it’s only $10 so that’s great. I’m getting box 832 and will definitely pass on the DryBar stuff (can’t do my hair because of spine stuff) and the Nirvana Bourbon as it’s sickly sweet. I actually have the Sephora lip stain already and quite like it even though I’m not a bold lip person (Cat’s right about the applying it with your fingers thing). I also have the Chill version of the setting spray but am looking forward to trying this version. The primer, we’ll see, as I have others and mattifying ones aren’t always that great on dry skin…

The lip stain does also work as a tint if you apply with a fingertip, so you can get a more gentle berry stain that isn’t dark at all and lasts without being an insane bold color. I have some in a purple ish color and do this! It is totally worth trying out with a stain and some chappie to make a nice long wearing tint that can look nice and natural.

I’m getting 816 – and I think my box will be here on Thursday – just got an email with the tracking number and it looks like it was shipped out on the 9th. (I’ll update you guys if the samples differ from the spoilers.)
Anyway, I’m interested to try out most of the things in this box – I think most of them will be new for me save the mascara. I have a sample of this and for some reason when I tried it I wasn’t loving it. I’ll try out my sample again, and if I’m not a fan, I’ll try and swap or donate the new, unused one in my box.

I’m blah on the mascara but I’ll be happy to use the primer and the setting spray. I’ll give the lippie a try too and I’ll use the dry shampoo even though it doesn’t make me squeal.

This will be my first Sephora box (finally) and I’m fairly satisfied. The only thing I’m really unhappy with is the red lip product, but I understand why they’d include that in a December box.

Try dabbing it on with a fingertip for a lightly stained on bold look. It doesn’t come off as intense and has that sort of Kbeauty tint to it. I’ve done this with a purple ish Berry one.

I’m loving this box I can’t wait to try everything in 816 🙂 I know other people have mentioned it but I’m sure homeless people would love dry shampoo in the winter I use it but for those who don’t it’s a good idea even if they shower being out on the sub cold with wet hair has got to be miserable it’s a good use for a product everyone likes but seems to have a stockpile of it

I appear to be getting 832. Happy to try the lip stain and the perfume but I am getting really tired of primers and dry shampoos. Seems like I receive one monthly in every beauty box I subscribe to.

Damn I already have the lancome listed in swap because I’m not a fan…I’d rather have 832 than 816 but at least I’ll use the UD and try the dry shampoo and primer so 3/6 but 832 it would have been 4/6…oh well.

I love the Nirvana perfumes, bought a bottle of each last time and used my white more than my black but love both. I grabbed rollerballs this time and prefer the bourbon to the Rose but they are both lovely.

Yessss! I liked the bulk of 832, but I’m 816, so I was nervous! The two alternates are things I’d have put up for swap, anyway.
I’ve tried the Sephora cream lip stain formula from when their Minnie Mouse collection went on clearance… it was an excellent deal, I really like it!
TY…thise are the itemsI will be receiving. I would love to try the Lancome mascara…but really like the smoky mascara…so I am pleased.
