At least it is original, it’s not like you see candles and lotions very often in a sub box.

Well I bought this box but now I am upset that I spent the money. With shipping its actually more. I sure hope something else magically appears in my box when it arrives. Looks like this will be my first and last subscription.

This is not $200 worth of items. The invoice I received indicates the total value of this box is $175. The most expensive items are the scarf at $90 and candle at $45.
Did anyone get the indigo scarf?

That’s odd. They have the scarf for sale on their site for $125. Unless it’s a different size??
I’d be pretty pi-… mad if the contents were with less than what I paid. Did they have a guaranteed minimal value? (I couldn’t find one listed on the site.)

And it cost $195.00? I wouldn’t be happy if I had paid that amount and only received $175.00 worth of products. I would, at the very least, expect the products to match the amount I spend.
For a minute I was experiencing FOMO, but your post slapped me back to reality. LOL

Dear Ann,
I believe there may be some confusion as the items you received have a much higher individual retail value than the purchased price. The retail value is listed on interior booklet and well over the $195 single box price with even greater value for annual subscribers. Since we ship from France to the USA we must include a commercial invoice that reflects what you, the buyer pays, less shipping for customs purposes or you could receive duty fees that are higher than the purchase price. We hope this clarifies the prices on the commercial shipping document.
Sincerely,
Luxe Provence

This does not strike me as $200 worth of goods…maybe $100…I’ve never had the feeling of “want” with this box but to each their own 🙂

Is it just me, or does the scarf have a dirty look to it? I know it isn’t dirty, but going by the picture, it just looks dirty to me.
Other than that, nice box. Love the saffron bottle.

YES! I received a “blue tinged” scarf. It looks dirty. Would feel guilty swapping it! The candle is wonderful–but quality control is off–the wick is WAY off center. *sigh* I just keep HOPING for a box where I love Everything.

Ok. Unfolded the scarf-looks much better than first glance. Very soft and light.
I just do not feel like they care about their subscribers unless they are gushing over their choices. I love a lot of products they have chosen and have discovered some wonderful products-but my year is almost up and as “elite” as they come across-I feel they could care less if I subscribe for another year or not.

Ha, yes. It looks like someone wiped their makeup off on it.

Not at all. I think it’s probably just shadows and/it the texture of the fabric you’re seeing.
I love the saffron, too! 🙂
