  1. Just received my two surprise crates and disappointed. Definately do not feel the value was there. One box had 4 napkins, 1 small dipping bowl, a ceramic soap dish and a small wood look plastic bowl. The other box has a small (6inch) plastic wreath, a metal shield and a piece of log. Do not even feel the value covered the price of one box. Not even items I would gift.

    • Oh no. I ordered 3 of them because I thought they would be nice like what they show on their site and in the past boxes. What you described sounds horrible, and not even worth the the money I spent for them. *SIGH*

      • I did write Gable Lane and they responded quickly and ask that I send them pictures which I did. I will post the response. Maybe yours will be better. Maybe my expectations were too high based on what I viewed on the website and they didsay items they were trying to unload.

      • They responded and offered a credit as my first box was missing an item. They were more than fair and stated they had so many orders and this was the first time doing a mystery box. Hope yours are all great.

    • My box was terrible too, I was so stoked for this mystery box based on all the items they’ve had in the past. I emailed them, and all they offered was an apology. I was told by a customer service rep that everyone loved the wreath candle thing in past boxes and that my metal dish rack was worth $50, and the tiny basket on a rope was great for Christmas. I have never ever ever been so disappointed in a box before. Mystery, subscription or one time purchase. The stuff I received literally could be picked up at a thrift shop, I wouldn’t even gift it. I understand a mystery box is just that, but this box they should be ashamed of themselves for evening sending it. Lesson learned, I will not be ordering from this company ever again.

    • I was disappointed in mine as well. I ordered two boxes, but only received one. I got a ceramic butter dish (?), a ceramic pot thing I think you are suppose to put on your counter and put spoons in (I don’t do that), weird styrofoam pears, and a bottle that says “tincture of toad”

So not doing this again. I’m through with mystery boxes – first popsugar, and now this!

  2. Sold out already, sad… ?

  3. I got a sold out… 🙁

  4. I purchased 2 boxes and thank you for the coupon code. All of the past boxes look great. Lately I feel I should just keep my debit card in my hand while reading MSA. Getting a great start on my Christmas shopping. Thank you MSA and all the great fellow readers.

  5. We do white elephant gift exchange for Xmas for my partner’s extended family, so I figured that something in my two mystery boxes will work!

I was able to use the discount code (thanks Ann!). FYI: Shipping was 7.99 for one box to Atlanta, and 9.99 for two.

  6. I looked through the spoilers and loved pretty much everything they’ve sent out, so I caved!

    Hope it’s great!

  7. Sounds like a good opportunity to pick up some items to put in the Christmas stash

  8. THANKYOU10 for 10% off works.

  9. I think i might break…..this looks like an interesting box.

  10. I picked one up! Hopefully I’m not disappointed! Shipping to Louisville, KY was $7.95!
