Did anyone else have issues with the Nuxe oil? I am so disappointed it was my favorite thing in the box and I am so pale so you can see why I was excited lol but I used one squirt and the thing broke! I’ve been trying to fix it for a week now and there’s no luck the product is unusable now 🙁

I didn’t even get the shimmer oil and was so disappointed. They said not everyone was suppose to get it. Which is the only reason I bought the box.

I’m new to Glossy box, and I just signed up a few days ago. I’m confused, can someone explain? You don’t actually get what they say will be in the box, you just get random crap?

Photo of Nuxe oil not loading … so will have to take everyone’s comments as my spoiler. Just signed up so this is my first experience with any “box.” Hope it’s not a waste.

So sad that both codes are expired 🙁

Am I the only one that was hoping for the little blow up donut for my pool?? Lol!! ???????????

Reply ButtonReply

Jenn

No hahaha I want one too! Even if it a mini one for my drink. Lol

Shannon

LOVE the Nuxe oil so Im excited already – hopefully making up for such a clusterf*ck of last months box LOL

Jenn

I just read reviews on the oil on birchbox and it sounds fantastic. I can’t wait! I just resubscribed. Eeeee! ?

I just subscribed yesterday, my first beauty box, and the code SUMMER still works for 30% off a subscription so I couldnt resist signing up for 12 months. $12.25/month is pretty good even if I don’t like everything in the box. Looks good so far, excited for both the spoilers already 🙂

This might redeem Glossybox for me this month. I do like that oil for my hair (shiny is fine with my hair, since I dye it black).

Jen

I love the oil from the holiday box!! I think it smells lovely, and so does my dog, who tries to lick my legs whenever I put it on haha.

Can’t wait to try the shimmer oil! I like eyeshadow sticks too. This is the first Glossybox I’ve been excited about in months.

If you use the Barbie dolls as scale for size, the bottle looks like the deluxe bottle, which is quite small. So we will see!

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

If you use the glossy box as reference (which it is next to the bottle) it looks quite large. I guess we see 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

nana

It looks like it could be the 1.6 oz bottle which retails at $34.

I’m looking forward to getting this if for no other reason that I don’t quite get what it’s for 🙂

Lily

My best guess it’s to moisturize your body (especially your legs) and give it a shimmering glow.

Ugh I caved after seeing the shimmer oil. I used the JUNE40 code. Sigh. This site is so bad for my budget.

jenn

Me too but will be get the June or July box ?

Reply ButtonReply

geannak

I just went back and checked on the site and on the checkout page and it says “First month: July”

Phew. So…I hope it’s the July box lol 🙂

Monica

Was anyone charged twice? My card was charged $14.99 Tuesday when I signed up and was charged $14.99 again today.

Reply ButtonReply

Angela

You were probably charged for the June box when you signed up and the July box today.

And since the bottle is see-through, they would not be able to cheat on the contents. My Icona Milano mascara tube in June was almost empty, and my Talika moisturizer tube in May was half empty. When Glossybox says “full size”, they mean the CONTAINER is full size.

Reply ButtonReply

nana

Dea, I think you have to blame Talika for the half empty issue. It says clearly on the tube “1 oz”, but the tube itself looks like a 1.7 oz size tube. To me it looks like a case of false advertising.

Kimberli

I thought I was the only one to notice that!!!! Had the same problem with products from Ipsy too!

Sarah

I wonder if this will be in everyone’s bag or is it a variation ? I really love the nuxe oil so i dont want to be disappointed if i dont receive it.

Hmmm I got this oil from glossybox before in last year’s LE Holiday Box. I still got most of mine. If it’s the same bottle then it’s a big one. I like it well enough. Only thing is the scent is sooo strong. Other than that it’s a great multi purpose oil.

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

I still have most of mine from the December LE box as well. I like to use it in cold winter days, so saving it till then. I didn’t like that it had a “tester only” sticker though, who knows how old it is. Will have to toss it if it starts smelling funny.

Amie

Ooh. This is good. I like Nuxe and have never tried their shimmer oil. Much better than the eye stick just because I always get colors way too dark for me in these boxes. If I could pick my color and choose a light shade, I’d be more excited. I just hope that the shipping is timely so I’ll have more of the summer to use the oil!

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

Looks like it may be a big bottle! Fingers crossed!

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

This is a nice product but just not for me, I can’t stand the smell.

Reply ButtonReply

Mary K

Me too! I got a huge bottle in the holiday box and rarely use it because of the fragrance.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

looking like its going to be a much better box than last month! 🙂

Alice

GOOD

I know GB reads the feedback and have been hoping they listen. Quality over quantity!

Oh boy… Here I go again! Darn you mysubscriptionaddiction.com- you’ve tempted me again- successfully I might add.
I quit Glossybox over a year ago because it became so boring and repetitive. But this looks awesome! Diving in once again.
