  1. I did the Suds box and holy mother load! The shipping weight of the box was 4.5lbs! Used my credit right away and even had other $1 coupons online too. This was epic! I was going to take a pic of my box to share on Facebook to brag, but never got around to it.

Keep these Amazon sample box alerts coming!! 🙂

  2. I just received the Women’s Makeup And HairCare Box and I have to say, it did not disappoint. The Loreal mascara and brow pencil alone are about $6 each and the sample sized shampoo and conditioner are about $2 each. So, it was worth paying $9 for all the goodies in the box. Thank you for posting about these sample boxes!!!

  3. I bought the Women’s Skin & Oral Care box. I got my email for the credit last night so I went to use my credit (it asks you at your cart of you want to apply the credit, it’s there in your account, just wait for the email!) & it let me use the credit for anything in THAT box AND the women’s makeup box! Just an FYI ?
I also got the cookie sample box and have not yet received that credit.

    • where does it ask you that Heather? I still can’t find my credit????

      • Did you get the email telling you that your credit was available? If not, just wait, it can take a week after ordering. If it’s been longer than that, I’d contact Amazon. If you DID get the email, it should ask you automatically at checkout if you want to use the credit.

      • I’m on hold with them now. My credits won’t show up and I don’t think she knows for sure what I’m talking about. She’s trying though!

  4. Has anyone figured out how to get your credit to apply. I went and put one of the items in my cart, but I can’t find the credit anywhere? I got the email saying the credit was applied to my account, but ??? I’m trying the beauty one and am ordering the foundation. I’m an Amazon pro and can’t figure it out. thanks if you can help!

    • I’d love to know this, too. Mine shipped Friday. No e-mail, nothing showing in my Amazon account.

      Thanks in advance!

    • Just looked at the terms of the box I bought. It looks like you’re supposed to get a credit a week after it ships. So for me, not until this Friday. We shall see…

    • It wouldn’t work for me on the foundation either. I tried it on the eye shadow and it worked fine, so it must be a problems on their end.

      • Thanks ladies. I may email customer service tomorrow.

        • I had no issues. When I checked it, it asked if I wanted to apply my credit.

  5. Damn, the only one I wanted it sold out, or “currently unavailable” I should say. *sigh* (it was the snack box btw)

  6. You can buy Annies Organic snacks at Target and Whole Foods. Target is cheaper, same snacks

  7. I thought with my trial prime membership I had free shipping

  8. When you place your order with all the credits, make sure to check the promo items that result in Prime Pantry free shipping, usually like 4 bags of chips for $8 or otherwise Pantry shipping is $5.99. I’d rather pay like $2 more for a bunch of snacks around the house since the hubby will eat anything salty.

  9. One of my boxes has shipped already! The Protein Bar Sample Box was shipped on 5/18 (yesterday). It should be here Monday. 🙂 The others are still being prepared for shipment.

    • Ladies. Run don’t walk and get these boxes. They are awesome even without the credit. Got all my boxes last evening. Yippy!

  10. I was so close to purchasing everything until, I realized it’s not an open credit. Booooo!!!!lol I never buy this type of stuff from Amazon so it’d be a waste. Ugh you almost had me Amazon lol?

  11. I got them all. I couldn’t help myself.

  12. Although I was tempted to get more…I just ended up buying the snack boxes.

  13. I’d buy most of them if it were a carte blanche Amazon credit, but I don’t like the fact that I’m restricted to credits on certain products because their prices aren’t always competitive. For example, I thought about the cleaning one, but I think I do better shopping on my own for laundry detergent than buying it at the Amazon price.

In other words, you are either paying for the samples and getting a discount on your full-price item or getting the samples for free and paying full-price for your full-price item. It can feel like you’re getting free samples *and* a discount on the full-price item, but you’re not, at least not unless they surprise you and throw a coupon code in the box.

Due to this, I have to pass on all of them. I feel like such a Debbie Downer (sad trombone).

    • Ok, after researching it for a few, the snack one with Annie’s Organic is cool. I’m getting that one – my kids love the snack packs for the car ride home from school (it can be long with traffic).

      • And now I feel like I am powerless to resist.

  14. whoops… got 9!

  15. So, I was seduced into ordering this! That’s my story and I am sticking to it ;). I ordered two snack boxes (snack bar box and regular snack box), and I ordered a men’s grooming box. I am very happy that I will be able to get additional things on the credit. I hope that they come out with the beauty boxes more often, because I was very happy with the $8.99 beauty box that I bought previously.

  16. I bought 7 I definitely have issues. But we are going on a road trip soon so the snack sizes are great for the teenagers and they always are looking for energy drinks.

Please don’t post more or my mail person is really going to hate me and the substitute one is a friend so she is always yelling at me about all my boxes she has to deliver.

    • LOL… I bought 7 too. Perfect for all the summer trips and pool days.

    • I think my mail carriers hate me. I see all kinds of tricks they get up to, to stuff as many boxes as possible in the mailbox so they don’t have to walk up to the front porch. And then they have to walk up to the front porch anyway because like one thing will be too big. Because I get like 50 subscription boxes a month (many are for MSA reviews), plus Amazon orders, plus Ulta and Sephora orders, plus a bunch of stuff I ordered last month on Ali Express that has started to trickle in, etc.

      • What’s Aliexpress? What do you buy there? I took a look but didn’t recognize any brand names

        • It’s all stuff direct from China, rather like eBay but with no bidding. I stick to jewelry-making charms and beads (often the same ones you see from US sites but a heck of a lot cheaper), plus bangle bracelets and assorted (costume) jewelry (you can find a lot of the same stuff from the jewelry subs there).

I avoid clothes because Asian notions of size are quite a bit different than they are in the US. I would probably not buy beauty items there because who knows what’s in them? And nothing with a lithium-ion battery because a lot of devices ranging from hoverboards to e-cigarettes have had issues with inexpensive imported batteries. But certain categories of item are fine.

The little kitchen gadgets (vegetable peelers, novelty ice cube trays, etc.) are often the same ones for sale from third party sellers on Amazon (just with a logo slapped on). If you’re willing to wait a few weeks for delivery you can get them a lot cheaper.

  17. Those Van’s “say cheese” crackers in the snack food bundle are like my favorite thing ever. They’re better than Cheez Its and they’re gluten free (and I don’t even need to eat gluten free but I still like them).

  18. Aaaaaaand I just bought 3! Snack box, suds box and women’s skin and oral care. I frikkin’ love samples!

  19. I bought six of them…. I have issues.

  20. Just ordered the Sports Nutrition pack as well.. so I ordered 3 all together. I love when there are sample boxes of multiple items that I’ve been wanting to try out but can’t make up my mind or don’t know which I would like.. =D

  21. Snack bar sample pack is back

    • Thanks! I missed it the first time.

  22. Just curious, how do you guys know when amazon has these boxes available? Is there a way to sign up for the alerts?

  23. I went back and canceled those I wouldn’t buy so I bought the 2 women’s boxes and cookie box

  24. I got both the syrup and the suds boxes. I figured I could use the different syrups for baking or coffee and I always can use soap and detergent 🙂

  25. I ended up ordering 3 boxes!! And all of the boxes looked like they would have product in them I could later use my credit towards! I’m so excited!

    • Cookie box reavailable! Just nailed one seconds ago! (OK. Reavailable may *not* be an actual word, but you get my drift…)

  26. Thank you! I got everything except the snack bar box. That is sold out

  27. I just bought ALL THE BOXES!! 😛

    • me too! i was keep justifying myself with “well I get credit back anyway” even though I never consume energy drinks or protein bars…

      • BAHAHAHA! I did the same thing, but now I see there is another box added. I’m resisting so far.

  28. Are these the sizes listed or allsamples? Anyone know?

    • if you scroll down, they give you a bigger picture of all the products and detail “full size” or “sample size”.

      • Yeah, I saw that on some after I asked lol. The ones I was looking at ( soap and energy drinks) didn’t specify like the others, though. At least earlier!

  29. Ordered the protein bar box and the snack bar box.. as it looked like they have a lot of the brands that I’ve wanted to try, but couldn’t see myself purchasing and not liking then I’d have all the others in the box.. so I think it’s great. I love/hate that the credit for whatever the box was though… since if you don’t like anything in the box (after trying it all) you are out the money still… but if you love/like the items, you use that towards purchasing the item.

  30. Got the energy drink one since those cans are over 1-2$ a piece at the store, even if I don’t buy more since they are so expensive I’m still happy! Got the snack bar one for the same reason.

  31. There is also a Women’s Skin & Oral Care Beauty Sample Box for $14.99

    • Do you have a link? I can’t find it – thanks!

      • Did you get the link, Liz? I posted it, but it’s gone now. 🙂

        • Got it and updated the post – thanks! (Comments with links don’t get auto approved in comments, so that’s why it disappeared.)

          Thank you!!

          • Glad to help… You’re welcome!!

    • Can’t find it. Help!

    • That Skin & Oral doesn’t look too exciting for $15. I got the others but not that one or the Syrup one.

      • Depends on what you’re looking for. I like SPF and wear it daily and I have a wire permanently glued to my bottom teeth (after I had my braces removed) so a few of the oral care products that look kind of specialized could actually be helpful to me (food gets stuck there a lot…). Plus I like to try new dark spot correctors/retinol products and that item is FS.

  32. I was so excited to buy then it told me at checkout it couldn’t send to Alaska. Maybe next time

  33. The cookie box is sold out already….boo!

    • I was sad about the cookie box being sold out… I’m gunna try again later.

  34. I got the protein, energy, and snack bar box. Woo Hoo!

  35. Haha, we must have all been posting at the same time. 🙂

    • Lol, note to self refresh the page before posting!

    • MSA readers know what’s up! 🙂

  36. Just an FYI. When I go on there it says you get a credit on select purchases not that you get the cost of the box back. This is the message “Congratulations. Your purchase qualifies you for a $7.99 credit on select energy drink products.” and “Congratulations. Your purchase qualifies you for a $9.99 credit on select Amoretti syrup products.”

  37. FYI, the credit seems to be only good toward the products in the boxes.

    • Thanks – just updated the post with specific terms for each box.

  38. FYI, it’s not just an open credit to Amazon. It’s a credit to the specific product category that your sample box represents, ie. if you get the energy drink one, you must use the credit towards another energy drink purchase. Also the phrasing of the descriptions indicates that you may or may not get everything pictured.

    • Ha. I took too long to type. Good thing to know everyone is good about reading the details! 😉

  39. This is awesome! Thanks 🙂

Be sure to pay attention to the details. On the energy drinks one, it says: “For a limited time, buy this box for $7.99 and receive a credit of $7.99 towards the purchase of select Energy Drink products shipped and sold from Amazon.com.” Just an FYI!

  40. I think it’s important to note that the credit you are given after buying the sample boxes must go toward that sort of product. So if you buy the Energy Drink box, the credit is good toward particular energy drink products.

    I almost went overboard.

    • Thanks – I’ll update the post with those details.

    • I was about to post the exact same thing! And for some items (like certain protein bars) Amazon is always way over priced compared to brick and mortar stores (like Luna bars are $1 or less at almost every grocery store but are well over a $1 on Amazon)
