Taryn Manning is the latest potential Quarterly curator! Quarterly recently started asking fans if they would be interested in a box before they commit to making it a subscription. If you'd be interesting in a Taryn Manning (AKA 'Pennsatucky' from Orange is the New Black), you can submit your email to let them know. I just got mine yesterday and the first box was great. I try and eat gluten/dairy free and everything she had in there fit the bill and we got a really sweet knife too!

I think you will really like it. When I first opened it, it didnt seem like much but i think that the curation is huge for this box becasue its how i want to eat/live 🙂

That video says absolutely nothing about what she’s thinking for the box. Since I know nothing about her outside OITNB and an appearance on Hollywood Game Night, I think I’d have to see her first box to decide. I literally have no clue what she might include.

I have heard (although I have not tried this) that you can use FIRSTBOX10 for the first box of ANY new-to-you Quarterly subscription. Like, you can use it once on your first MSA box and not again on MSA, but then if you wanted to sign up for Nina Garcia, you could use it again on your first Nina Garcia box.
Worth a try, anyway. And you can always cancel right away (assuming the box gets enough support) since you’re not billed until it ships.

I have a Quarterly box problem – l like to try them all. I have only ever been able to use the FIRSTBOX10 code 1 time. It was not actually on the first box I ever tried from them, I think it was the 2nd or 3rd curator I tried, but after that use it has never let me use it again 🙁 There are some codes you can use more than once, there was a $5 one back in July that I went a little crazy with and signed up for 4 new subs.

I love Taryn Manning!
But $50 is quite expensive for the possibility of hating some of the stuff I would get. Plus, I’ve looked at a lot of these celebrity quarterly boxes, and it’s just hard to believe that they picked these things. I think Quarterly gives them a list of discounted products and says pick a few or something. Some of the curation is just wonky.

I just watched her video and all I could think of was: WOW, The actress is exactly like her character Pensatucky! That being said, I wouldn’t be interested in ordering this box.
