I decided I need to take a break from sub boxes for a few months….I have more samples than I know what to do with. When I cancelled Glossybox (at the time, my July box hadn’t even come in yet), I was notified that I would still get deducted for August.

Yeah in the fine print they say you have to cancel before the 15th of the previous month in order to not get the next month’s box. So if you wanted July to be your last box, you would have to cancel by the 15th of July to not get August’s box.

glamglow–great product, but i wouldn’t ever buy the full size since it’s so expensive (and i’m loaded with their sample sizes)
mitchell & peach–whimpy body “cream” but i love the milky scent (if that’s your thing
skin inc brightening serum–lasts about a week. it suggests 3 drops per use but i tuned it down to 2 drops per use and it lasted a week and a day. i noticed some improvement. it’s also super moisturizing (i even forgot to moisturize one night, ha ha).
malin+goetz–works really well. i was impressed.
philip b–great mist. i use it as a leave-in conditioner and my hair looks flawless the next day.

This is the norm for GB. Always has been. My box was shipped yesterday & I am expected to get it on the 2nd. & I think you can usually order the August box on the 1st. That is usually when the boxes change over.

That sounds kinda interesting injust cancelled a couple days ago but august is my last box and I’m going to try boxycharm a few times to see which I like better I love all the high end skincare items in glossybox though

Liz: Have you noticed a lot of international products in glossybox? — I noticed the Skininc in the July box is made in Japan. It is nice to get something international in a box. I get MeMe boxes because I really like trying different items from different countries – So it is nice to see Glossybox has a unique high quality selection.

They usually have one or two international brands in each box. Usually they are UK brands. I think it definitely helps make their box unique! 🙂

I’ll give it a try but I’m not very hopeful. The Laura Mercier highlighter from Sample Society doesn’t even show up on me because I’m so pale.

I had this problem too! Though, it does tone down some of the red on my pale, pale cheeks, so I’ve been using it…hoping this might be a LITTLE less shiny.
