Hammock Pack Subscription Box Review - May 2014 cookies

Kelly Family Kitchen Allergy-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies - Value $4.50

These cookies avoid just about every allergen besides gluten, so I'll be passing these along to a friend who I know will enjoy them!

Hammock Pack Subscription Box Review - May 2014 bar

GinnyBar in Karma, Love & Apricot - Value $2.50

Sum Bum SPF Lip Balm - Value $4

Naples Soap Company - Value $8.50

This bar was delicious - definitely a perfect beach snack! I was disappointed in this soap though - their website describes their soap as all natural,  but when I flipped over the soap to look at the ingredients, it has two artificial colors listed: Yellow 6 and Blue 1. So now I'm skeptical that the fragrance listed as an ingredient isn't natural either. 🙁

Hammock Pack Subscription Box Review - May 2014 Rifle

Rifle Paper Company Notepad - Value $8

Rifle Paper Company Blooms Card - Value $4.50

I have more notepads than I will ever need thanks to subscription boxes, but I also love all things Rifle Paper Co., so I was thrilled to find these items in the box this month. I had no idea they were located in Florida!

Verdict: I paid $30 for this box and received $32 worth of items. I wouldn't recommend Hammock Pack if you are looking for a great retail value compared to what you paid, but I do recommend it if you value the curation of the box. I personally like the mini-escape each month, and think that in general they are very thoughtful with the brands they include.

What did you think of Hammock Pack this month?

I’m glad my subscription doesn’t start until next month. I was expecting something better from a Florida box.

Nothing Key Lime after that tease? Bummer!

@Alyssa – I think they were referring to the soap that comes in Key Lime and Mandarin. xo

I also just received my first Hammock box which was the same as above. It was OK but it lacked that little something extra. I will try one more month but If it doesn’t wow me I’ll cancel.
