Julibox Review – February 2013 – Monthly Cocktail Subscription Boxes!
Julibox is my new go-to engagement gift – the packaging is superb, and the whole box just has a wonderful celebration vibe to it!
Each box comes with recipes and ingredients for two different drinks – this month it was the Strawberry Cobbler and the French 75.
The Box: Julibox
The Cost: $40 a month ($36 a month with 6 month subscription)
The Products: Cocktails and mixers needed to make 2 cocktails (2 servings for each drink - 4 drinks total)
Grand Mariner 50 mL bottles (2)
Mionetto Prosecco D.o.c. Treviso
This strawberry cobbler drink looks delicious – now I need to pick up fresh strawberries next time I’m grocery shopping! (The include everything you need for the drinks except fresh ingredients like berries, lime juice, etc). They even included a muddler to use on the fresh berries (see main box picture).

Courvoisier Cognac (50 mL)
Is it bad that as soon as I typed out Courvoisier Cognac, I started hearing the song “Pass the Courvoisier” in my head?
Verdict: I really appreciate all the thought and detail that go into the packaging, the curation, and the recipes in each Julibox. This is one of my favorite boxes to unwrap, and it’s fun to try different cocktail recipes – without Julibox I’d probably just always be drinking white wine! What do you think of Julibox?

Maaaan, I want this one so badly, it looks like so much fun! But 40 bucks is cray for 2 drinks, fancy drinks notwithstanding.
If it makes it any better, it’s technically 4 drinks
– two servings of each recipe! I signed up for a 3 month subscription at a discount from Gilt City – I’ll make sure to post if I find any deals in the future on this box!
Its a cute idea but this doesn’t look like a very good value.
This subscription looks so good . . . so tempting!
