Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. In fact, it's one of our readers' top picks for Best Fitness Subscription Boxes of 2021! The VIP Membership is $49.95/month and allows you to choose from outfits and sets that have been put together just for members at a discounted price.

Guess what guys? I did a thing. Though I haven't played volleyball since 2004, I signed up as part of an adult competitive volleyball league! Gulp...While I am super excited, I'm also a bit nervous as some of the games don't start until after my bedtime and I recently threw out my back while cartwheeling in front of our entire student body while wearing a tiger mascot costume...which is another story entirely. All in all, I've decided that even if my skill base is lacking, my super adorable outfits from Fabletics will keep me at least looking trendy! This month I chose something a lot more colorful than my usual picks. Read below to see what I received.

On-The-Go Medium Impact Sports Bra II - Retail Value $49.95

Because of this new volleyball league business, I decided a medium impact sports bra was just what I needed to add to my collection this month. I strolled through the "My Outfit" section of the website and was completely drawn to the "Elevate 2-Piece Outfit" not only because of the brilliant color palette but because of the fun camo pattern as well. If you ask either of my kids or my husband what their favorite color is, they all will state camo. While this pattern is quite different from that of Sitka or Kuiu, I was happy to have a sports bra in a variety featuring my favorite colors: peach and blue. I enjoyed the fit of this bra, and agree with the description of medium impact. I wore it under a tee-shirt grocery shopping and tested it out with a Leslie Sansone video and found it to be just the right amount of support. I felt secure but wasn't left gasping for air and enjoyed the softness of the nylon fabric. The back of the bra also features a pocket, but I don't think mine will get much use as I can barely reach back there. What do you store in the back of your sports bra?

Anywhere High-Waisted 7/8 Leggings - Retail Value $74.95

Lucky me! This month the sports bra I wanted just so happened to come as a set with matching leggings. Also in the bold camo pattern, these high-waisted leggings fit like a dream and really have brightened up my 5:00 a.m. workout sesh. My only complaint about these leggings is the lack of pockets. I know I don't need pockets while working out, but I find myself trying to shove my phone down my pant leg in search of a pocket when wearing these around the house. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Here are the two pieces together:

Elevate 2-Piece Outfit - Retail Value $144.90

With my $49.95 VIP  Member Credit, I was able to purchase this colorful 2-piece set, scoring a huge savings. Paired with a peach tank, I am ready to take on an afternoon outside workout (because it's 70 degrees out right now when it should be snowing!) What did you think of this month's pattern? Was the bold pattern too much, or just right?

Verdict

I really enjoyed changing it up with Fabletics this month. The day my member credit dropped, I hopped online to see what was available under my outfits. I found three pages of outfits and quite a few loungey-type options. As you can see I veered off the beaten path a bit and went for bright and fun. I 100% love my picks this month, and while I would have preferred leggings with pockets, I can say that by using my VIP Member Credit and saving almost $20 off the member price (or over $100 off the non-member price) I feel like I got a pretty good deal, which is what I am all about! What types of styles do you think Fabletics will drop next month?

Other Things You Should Know

Can you still get this set if you sign up today? Yes, all items are still available but in limited sizes.

Value Breakdown: Without the VIP Membership Credit, the "Elevate 2-Piece Outfit" retails at $144.90 for guests. As a VIP not using your member credit, you could purchase this for $69.95. Using your credit saves you $20, and keeping up on your reviews earns you points for more apparel, furthering your savings! Score!

My daughter stores her phone in the bra pocket so she can run hands free and still listen to music with ear buds.
Ouch on the cartwheel but hooray for volleyball. I think the patterned outfit is perfect. Enjoy.

That’s a very good idea Jody E – I didn’t even think of that. When I used to run it was with a phone holder that velcroed on my arm attached to wire headphones….talk about a hassle! I’m excited for the volleyball! We find out our schedule tomorrow! Wish me luck!
