Lurella Cosmetics Sweetheart Palette - Retail Value $20.00
I am hereby renaming this Sweetheart palette the Barbie palette- all of those pinks are screaming Barbie Girl to me, and I love it. The shimmers on this palette are out of this world- they're multidimensional, buttery soft, and very pigmented. Applying the shimmers with a finger will give you a more dramatic finish while sweeping it on with a brush will soften up the effect. The mattes on this palette aren't the best I have ever used, but they weren't bad. Honestly, if you've been needing an eyeshadow palette with plenty of pinks, the $20 price tag on this one is going to be hard to beat while still getting a quality palette.

Here are the swatches, with the liquid lipstick and highlighter also included in this box swatched at the very top.
I did two quick looks with this palette- on one eye I applied the tan duochrome shade Soulmate with my finger all over my lid to see how it would look on it's own (I loved it).
On the other eye I played with the purple shades- I did a base of the shade Cutie and applied the shimmery Love Potion on top with a brush, and then blended the shade Date Night in the outer corner. I liked this smokey purple look a lot, and I don't think I've ever tried a look like this one. I'm also wearing a little bit of the Laura Geller highlighter on the high points of my cheekbones for a more natural glow, and I like how it turned out.

Spongelle Bulgarian Rose Body Wash Infused Buffer - Retail Value $16.00
I am no stranger to Spongelles, but I am still happy to see them in a subscription box. This is a body wash-infused sponge that is great for exfoliating your skin and sudsing up to get clean at the same time. Along with rose, the scent has notes of jasmine and strawberry, and I enjoy the sweet floral smell. This brand is vegan and cruelty-free, and it also uses a bacteria agent in its buffer to help prevent bacteria growth. Also, this may just be a me thing, but I really love that the sponge is shaped like a flower instead of something more boring.

Laura Geller Supersize Baked Gelato Illuminator in Gilded Honey, 0.35 oz – Listed Value $55.00
I am really excited that after years of seeing a mini baked gelato highlighter in various sets and subscription boxes that Tribe sent out a full-size in this box- and a jumbo one at that. Subscribers could have received the shade Diamond Dust or Gilded Honey, and Gilded Honey is the one I was hoping for – look at that gorgeous golden color and mesmerizing swirl. My brush picked up this powder easily, and if I wanted a more high-impact highlight I could apply it with my fingers, too. I like how versatile this powder is – I can go for just a soft kiss of glow, or I can go blinding depending on my mood. I couldn’t find this available for sale in the jumbo size, so I linked to the original. Since the 0.16 oz version retails for $26, I think the listed value matches what this was when it was sold. I’m not sure how old this is since I can’t find it online anymore, but that doesn’t really bother me for a highlighter (I would care a lot more if it was a skincare product with active ingredients that become less potent over time).

Steve Laurant Limited Edition Tweezer Duo - Retail Value $24.00
There's not really a "wow" factor in getting tweezers in a subscription box, but they are incredibly practical. I am someone who misplaces small items (like tweezers) very easily, so I am never mad about receiving more of them. We received a slant-tipped pair and narrow pair, and while I am not really sure what makes these tweezers limited edition they have already been put to use (along with using them to pluck stray hairs I like using tweezers to apply the gel nail stickers I've been rocking on my nails since Covid began).

Suva Beauty Elysian Liquid Lipstick - Listed Value $18.00
I believe this is a discontinued product from Suva Beauty- the only lipsticks on their website are the Moisture Matte, and I'm not seeing any Glossy Lamination lipsticks available anywhere other than eBay. This is a glossy liquid lipstick, and I was surprised that it wasn't as sticky as I was expecting it to be. A glossy red has never been my thing (if I am going red, I'm going matte), but this had a nice pigmented color with a glossy shine.

Maskeraide Matcha Detoxifying Clay Mask - Retail Value $6.50
While I Love masks (I even have a crown I wear while masking when I am feeling extra flamboyant), I usually shy away from masks that claim to “detox” my skin because my skin is dry, and those masks are usually targeted towards those with oily skin. Seeing the Maskeraide product listing page promising an “intense clean feeling” left me even more hesitant- but I persevered. I do like the ingredients on this- it has matcha, niacinamide, kaolin clay, basil extract, and centella asiatica, and the mask is handy for travel because it’s packaged into individual packets. I tried this out all over my face except the apples of my cheeks (where I am most sensitive and don't get too many clogged pores), and I enjoyed the fun green color while I left it on for ten minutes to do it's thing. I followed it up with a hydrating sheet mask, and my skin was happy.
The Verdict: This was another fun box from Tribe Beauty Box. I thought the palette was really lovely, and I appreciate the mix of practical and fun items that cover skincare, body care, and beauty. TBB does a great job of featuring small brands (I had never heard of Lurella Cosmetics before), and I do feel like the value for the money was there. Speaking of value- using a combination of listed and retail values, everything in this box adds up to $139.50.
